Always great fun here, and the food is fab. The music is great too, but the family entertainment between midday and 3pm on Saturday is just sublime. :-)

Bring hats and sun cream though as it's looking to be a scorcher!

Yesterday was a very interesting day on Bournemouth beach. I had tickets to be in the audience to watch filming of You Bet hosted by Stephen Mulherne. Josh Widdecombe, Alesha Dixon and Josie Gibson were on the panel. Saw a few challenges and were they successful? Not saying.

Been to see a few TV shows being recorded. Also appeared on a few TV quizzes top and behind the scenes is fascinating. There must have been around 75 crew and at least 20 cameras there on this shoot. So there's a good chance you'll see me in the background when it airs.

CARNIVAL FREE ENTRY AGAIN FOR 2025

Once again, it is FREE ENTRY to the Corfe Mullen Carnival on Saturday 14 June. Due to the sponsorship we have secured, we are able to help make it an affordable afternoon out. Not only will you be entertained by the marching bands, the parade floats and walking groups during the STREET PARADE (don’t forget to help fill the collecting buckets with your donations), but you can also enjoy the live entertainment on our PERFORMANCE STAGE at the recreation ground. We have INTERNATIONAL AWARD WINNING RumSoaked as our headline act, as well as the incredibly popular Sodapops harmony trio, and local talent from CHUGS Ukulele’s.

In the arena we will be entertained by The Sapphire Stage Academy. FREE TO ENJOY will be the Classic Cars on display, the Dutch Musical Barrell Organ, Jonathan the Jester with circus skills, Mr Merlin and Okey Dokey the Dragon. You can watch the popular Dog Show, coordinated by our friends at Hillside Veterinary Centre. We have also been able to SUBSIDIES SOME ACTIVITIES, with two face painters charging only £3.50 per child, Crazy Golf at just £2 and Model Train Rides for a pound.

PLUS there is so much more there on the afternoon.

Just a few images from the last time we did the BEN show together. It was at the Hamworthy Club in 2019. We didn't do a planned reprisal in 2020. Can't remember why. Anyone know what went on in 2020 that would have prevented us all getting together again?
