The Chocolate Cellar

The Chocolate Cellar Creating little luxuries for the everyday through our chocolates and our chocolate experiences. I have a little chocolate making unit and a small shop front.

I started The Chocolate Cellar from my home after being inspired by the book Chocolat! I made chocolate for friends and family and they all asked if I would sell them. The hobby turned into an obsession and getting tired of everywhere in the kitchen being covered in Chocolate, I converted our cellar into a secret little chocolate factory. The hobby became a full time business ... the name came fro

m where I was making chocolate! Over the years The Chocolate Cellar has moved from my home to Birkenhead, to Liverpool, back to home and now we are in New Ferry. From here we run our online shop, supply to other shops and also run chocolate making workshops for children and adults, for birthdays, hen parties and team building.

We had so much fun in this chocolate workshop... and the chocolate behaved despite the heat. Everything set on time and some lively treats were made.

Workshops can be booked for groups and individuals and we can even put a package together with food and drink from Cobble and Hay .

It's definitely been a while since I did one of these.... what with moving, working on Cobble and Hay and the hot weather my poor chocolate business has been feeling very neglected. Excited for market weekend and working on getting some stock together for the markets.

Happy National Retail Workers' Day 🛍

Our wonderful team at Port Sunlight Museum's gift shop not only provide visitors with a proper Port Sunlight welcome, but their work helps to bring in valuable income that directly supports our work to look after this special village. A big thank you to them 👏

Today's also a chance to celebrate the other retail workers across the village, from Port Sunlight Garden Centre to Cobble and Hay, who together support our local economy and make the village a great place to live, work and visit.
