I play the music and I eat the pizza 🍕
Copenhagen-based. tadoh's foundation lies solidly between slow-tech and organic deep house.

Copenhagen-based but Milan-born, tadoh's first adventures behind the booth took place within the radical left scene of Copenhagen. The desire to bridge this environment with the raver scene led him in 2015 to launch a monthly series of soli-parties called Folkets Haus and later For Haus’ Sake. His sound matured along with these events and tadoh placed himself firmly as a key actor in the electronic music scene of the Danish capital. While the tempo may vary, the listener’s experience is persistent: tadoh’s sets always bear a characteristic groovy drive that keeps the dancefloor moving with their hands pumping low - while melodic, uplifting and surprising elements bring a taste of faraway flavors and keep the energy bubbling high. In recent years, tadoh has been playing more than 50 gigs a year across a wide range of festivals, clubs and off location events, balanced between his hometown Copenhagen and foreign endeavours. I made a podcast for Easy Tiger ✨

I guess the proper, catchy title should probably be "Tiger meets dodo meets tadoh" :P

I was asked which animal I wanted for the cover, before I gave any thought to what I wanted the podcast to be. I chose the dodo kind of randomly, but it ended up shaping the musical journey.
I liked the idea of drawing a parallel between the dodo, that from harmless half-myth turns out to be a fierce animal when scholars studied it, with a downtempo set. I went slower than I have played recently, but tried to give it a fat bottom and a lot of character, just like the dodo 🦤

Olives 🫒 and dates 📅

A few impressions from this year's harvest down in Italy. We had less olives than the other years and it was the first harvest without my dad, but still a lovely occasion to gather with family and spend some days in nature 🌱

And now that I am well greased, I can look forward to a bunch of spectacular dates in the coming weeks, including three back to backs with three lovely humans, a Berlin visit and Australia on the horizon.

I made an edit of Chappell Roan's "Hot to go".
It's my first edit and it's now a free download! 💫

I finished it just in time to play it as my closing track at Mystic Creatures Festival, and I'm super satisfied of the way it was received, with a few people on the floor even dancing the letters like in the music video 😀👯‍♀️

New track and a free download to start the weekend 💫

I made this edit of the amazing track "Hot to Go" by Chappell Roan.
I managed to finish it just in time to play it as my closing track at Mystic Creatures a few weeks ago, for one of the few moments of sun after the storm (that's where the footage is from) 😀

(I wouldn't have finished in time, hadn't it been for Esmaeili and .official 's invaluable feedback and super sweet support 🫶)

It was the first time I played a track of mine as a closing, and I am really happy that it was well received (and some dancers even danced the letters of the track, just like in the music video 😍) and that I could finish that chaotic slot with this memory 🙌🤸‍♂️

What went down at .creatures_ festival this past weekend 🤯🫶

Mystic Creatures Festival. Even in the craziest weather, you stole my heart ❤️

My gig was packed with rain, wind, more rain, rainbow, sun, emergency loops, a tarp so high up that I couldn't see the floor for a long time: and yet we managed to create a quite unforgettable moment on the floor.

Thanks to the friends and strangers that danced through it all, to those (eski 🫶) who saved the day when the rain started hitting the equipment, to everyone involved in making the festival and those who accompanied me through the whole weekend for adventures so hot and cute that the rain was just a background thing.

And! Thanks to the over 100 friends and strangers who said "YES" to have a temporary tattoo with my face or name on them. My camera roll is filled with your body parts, and they look amazing 🦶🦵💪👃🫱
A few wrote me that I stuck to them all the way to Berlin or Leipzig, and it makes me happy to know we are landing together after the festival 😉

The opening speech is a recording of mine, made in frustration out of not being able to use the opener I wanted to use (and someone wrote me and could identify the specific track just from my description - can you?) - and the closing track is an edit I made, that will soon be out. It was lovely to see some people on the floor dancing the letters of HOT TO GO, and I'm proud to have used a track of mine as the closing, for the first time ever. In between a bunch of tracks I love from friends and producers I admire, from bouncy, to percussive, to old house hits and melodic heartbreakers. The full track list will come, and for now feel free to ask for track IDs.
