Here's a statement from Back to the Roots regarding the Sunday happenings on Malta, when our musical gathering was SHUT DOWN very early on by ERA (Environment and Resources Authority) 😬
To be honest, I'm still kind of lost for words...
The session started at around noon and the police came to stop us at around 6pm... kind of a shocking time... from my experience, even when there were some legal issues, the authorities would let the event run till 10pm..
It all is such a strange feeling as I'd spent a good amount of time at the venue just the day before during the soundcheck.. felt like a mini-party there, really... 🤗
And now, with so many beautiful people around.. 💔 who had to leave 🫨
then, after the MP kicked everybody out on Sunday🤯, we continued in our little gathering, just amongst us and the venue staff.. sound playing quietly, reasonings, drumming, dance...
