I definitely have many talents, but keeping a poker face is not one of them.

What did I find under the booth?

Why the first hour matters?

The room is arriving.
People are adjusting.
The sound is settling.
The night is learning its direction.

The first hour of a night is often underrated.
It is where the atmosphere forms before the room becomes fully open.

🫵 Come earlier next time.

Just walking around and letting the city change the rhythm a little.

Kraków doesn’t close. It just goes underground.
By midnight, the Old Town empties out. Church towers go dark. Tourists head back to their hotels.
A few streets away, underground, the night is just getting started.
This isn’t random. Kraków has taken music seriously for over 100 years. Its music academy opened in 1888 — one of the oldest in Poland. Every spring, orchestras fill huge arenas with live film scores for thousands of people at once.
Sound has always been serious business here — never just background noise.
That same energy built today’s underground scene.

Kraków isn’t just gothic towers and an old music academy. It’s one of Europe’s underground capitals.

Minimal techno is often the quiet force in a hypnotic set.

It doesn’t demand attention — it shapes it. It holds the groove steady, creates space between moments, and lets tension build without breaking the flow.

In a well-constructed set, restraint can be as powerful as intensity. A stripped-back track can keep everything moving forward while giving the room space to sink deeper into the rhythm.

This is where minimal techno shows its purpose.

Not less — just enough.

Which minimal record would you add?

A closing set has a different responsibility.

The room is tired.
The energy is deeper.
People are less guarded.
The music can become more physical.

But closing is not only about playing harder.

Sometimes the best thing you can do
is slowly take something away.

Less pressure.
More space.
A softer landing.

People have already been through the whole night. They danced, listened, gave their energy, lost track of time and stayed until the end.

For them, the closing set is not just “the last slot”.

It is the last taste of the night.

And I think that matters.

You can either push too hard and slowly empty the floor, or you can read what is left in the room and carry people somewhere honest. Sometimes that means more pressure. Sometimes it means less. Sometimes the strongest decision is not to add more intensity, but to give the dancefloor a proper goodbye.

The people who stayed until the end deserve that.

Not a forced ending.
Not one last ego moment.
Just a final chapter that makes sense after everything that came before.

A good closing set does not only finish the night.
It helps people land.

> Stay until the end once. You might understand the whole story differently.

People of HEAT ♥️

We slowly built a proper hypno-trippy groove together 🌀 and the energy you gave back was really special.

Thank you for another beautiful night. Big love to for having me and letting me open the floor for & Zuzzz as well.

Grateful for this one ♥️

A warm-up is not background music.

People are still arriving.
The floor is slowly opening.
The energy does not need to peak yet.

A good warm-up introduces the sound.
Builds trust.
Creates tension without spending it.

And most importantly —
it gives the night somewhere to go.

A warm-up set has a very different job from peak time.

People are arriving with different energy, talking to friends, finding their place in the space and slowly connecting with the music. The dancefloor does not need to be pushed immediately.

It needs time.

A good warm-up DJ understands that. They build the atmosphere without trying to steal the biggest moment of the night. They introduce rhythms, create curiosity and slowly give people a reason to move closer to the floor.

And that restraint matters.

If the night starts at maximum intensity, there is very little space left for tension, contrast or surprise. A strong night needs somewhere to travel.

That is why some of the most important tracks of the night might not be the ones you remember as “the biggest”. They are the ones that quietly made everything after them possible.

So if you usually arrive only for the headliner, try coming earlier once.

Listen to how the room changes.
Watch the floor slowly fill.
Notice how the music prepares you before you even realise it.

The night does not begin at peak time.
The warm-up is already part of the story.

> Come earlier. Give the warm-up a chance
