Grateful for a powerful weekend of connection and community.
A heartfelt thank you to Champagne and Aishihik First Nations for the opportunity to work together, and to the community of Haines Junction for such a warm welcome throughout the weekend.
The CAFN Career Fair was an incredible opportunity to connect with Yukon businesses, organizations, and community members. It was inspiring to see so many people sharing knowledge, opportunities, and pathways for the future.
Following that, the CAFN Youth Gathering brought even more energy and purpose. Thank you to all the youth who showed up, shared their voices, and engaged in meaningful conversations, and to everyone who helped hold space for thoughtful dialogue and learning.
Youth are not just the future—they are leaders, innovators, and knowledge holders right now. Creating spaces where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered is essential to building strong, resilient communities. When youth are given opportunities to connect, learn, and lead, entire communities grow stronger.
So grateful to have been part of this important work. 🖤🐦⬛
