AVSS RETRO REWIND THROWBACK TO THE 80’s
*DAY 2*

Today we turn the spotlight toward some of the incredible teachers, staff members, coaches, mentors, and school legends who helped shape generations of Vikings.

Some of these familiar faces are no longer with us, but their impact lives on in the stories we tell, the lessons we carry, and the lives they helped shape.

They taught us Algebra and English.
They coached our teams.
They handed out detentions.
They encouraged us when we needed it most.
They believed in us before we believed in ourselves.

Today, we remember them with gratitude.

A little Retro Rewind housekeeping today, Vikings ❤️🖤🤍

As many of you know, AVSS Retro Rewind is being independently organized and funded entirely through ticket sales.

Unlike the main event, which is being ran by the 1990 Centenary Committee, our committee does not have corporate sponsorships, financial backing, or ANY in-kind community support covering our costs.

Every ticket purchased goes directly toward:

🎵 DJ & entertainment
🏛️ Hall rental
🪩 Décor & tables
🏆 Door Prizes
🎟️ Printing, supplies & event costs
🙌 The many moving pieces required to bring this nostalgic night together for our community.

Any funds above and beyond what is raised for expenses will be given directly back to the community.

Because of this:

ALL ticket sales are FINAL.

ALL pertinent details concerning the Friday Night Reunion Event are available on several
Platforms, including the official tickets.

If you have already purchased a Friday Retro Rewind ticket and decide you would prefer to attend the Saturday evening programming once the Centenary Committee announces their tickets instead, we kindly ask that you resell or transfer your ticket privately.

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and support as we work hard to create a fun, welcoming, Gen X throwback celebration for all of us to reconnect, laugh, dance, and remember where we came from.
