✨ Meet Coach Julia Cassis✨

As a seasoned ballroom and Latin dance instructor with over 30 years of experience, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion with students of all levels, from beginners taking their first steps to competitive dancers striving for excellence. As the owner of Let’s Dance London, I've built a reputation for delivering personalized instruction and fostering a supportive community.
When I'm not on the dance floor, I enjoy teaching as a supply teacher with the French school board, replacing teachers, EA’s and ECE’s . My most recent venture has been obtaining my real estate licence, which allows me to explore new ways of connecting with people and helping them achieve their goals. Through dance, teaching, and real estate, I've learned that it's all about the people and relationships you build. I'm grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in my community and to do what I love every day.

✨ Introducing Meg and Nate ✨

Born and raised in St. Thomas and surrounding area, Meg and Nate enjoy contributing and giving back to their community.
Meg and Nate are both Registered Massage Therapists who take pride in providing their clients with exceptional, evidence-based care. Meg has expanded her career into education and currently teaches in the Massage Therapy programs at Conestoga and Fanshawe Colleges. Nate is the founder of the Rip Current Information Project, an initiative dedicated to educating the public and helping standardize communication about dangerous currents in the Great Lakes.
While neither had a background in dance, Meg and Nate had a blast learning to salsa during the 2023 DWTS fundraiser. They loved being part of a fantastic group, supporting a great cause, and stepping outside their comfort zones.
They’re thrilled to be back on the dance floor for the 10th Annual Dancing With the Stars for the Station and can’t wait to entertain you!

✨ Meet Coach Deb & Michael ✨

Deb Riopelle is an avid dancer and choreographer, specializing in creating personalized dance routines for couples celebrating weddings and other special life events. She also teaches a variety of ballroom, Latin, and swing dance styles from her home studio in Ingersoll.
Deb has showcased her creativity and choreography on stage, performing with one of her students at Dancing With the Stars 2023.
Deb is also a passionate artist and painter. Her artwork is wonderfully diverse, and she often combines her two passions by painting dancers and movement. For Deb, both dance and art are ways to express creativity, connection, and joy.

Michael lived most of his life in the Tillsonburg area but has been living in St Thomas for the pass several years.
Getting hooked on dance in the mid 90’s with the Country line dance craze, Michael soon joined a dance team which in 2002 began competing in the large team show dance category with great success placing 3rd in January 2003 at the UCWDC Worlds competition in Nashville Tennessee.
In 2006 Michael started taking Ballroom lessons and soon found himself attending classes 4 nights a week, going out dancing the other three.
In 2008 started training to become a ballroom dance instructor, American smooth and rhythm style.
In 2009 started teaching ballroom dance in St Thomas and Simcoe Ontario, introducing hundreds of people to the joy of dance.
Covid and personal obligations triggered an early retirement for Michael, however he has now returned to do what he really enjoys, teaching dance.

My name is Crystal King. While dancing has always been a part of my life, this is my first time competing as a dancer!
I have been blessed with 13 years as a dance fitness instructor operating Flygirl Fitness and the past two years with CountryFly Line Dancing. I absolutely love being on stage and entertaining, but this opportunity has challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone and try something completely new—something I never shy away from.
As a proud mother of two boys, I strive to lead by example and teach them the importance of growth, embracing new experiences, and pursuing opportunities that challenge us.
Giving back to my community is also something I am deeply passionate about. Over the years, I have organized and participated in countless community events, raising funds for various charities and creating opportunities to simply spread positivity throughout the community.
I feel truly blessed to have been invited to be part of this event and am incredibly excited for the experience. I can’t wait to take the stage and, most importantly, enjoy the show!

My name is Olivia Puglisi, and dance has always been a passion of mine! I’ve always loved dancing for fun and have never been one to turn down an opportunity to hit the dance floor, but I’ve never done anything professionally or competitively.
I’ve spent over 20 years in martial arts, so I’m no stranger to performing in a ring, but trading martial arts moves for dance moves has pushed me outside my comfort zone! By day, I work in healthcare, and when I’m not working or dancing, you’ll find me with my two dogs, who keep me on my toes in a completely different way!
I recently moved to St. Thomas to be closer to my parents, and I feel incredibly lucky to have met Crystal and to have the opportunity to be part of such a special event. Giving back to this amazing community and supporting the preservation of such an iconic local landmark is something I’m truly excited about.

From the studio to the stage, Abi Keir has dedicated her life to dance. Training since the age of two, she spent 11 years as a competitive dancer in St Thomas, ON before studying contemporary ballet at Arts Umbrella Summer Program in Vancouver. With 15 years of teaching and 13 years of choreography experience, Abi is a full-time instructor at Step Above Dance, a faculty member with Powerhouse Dance Company, and an award-winning choreographer whose work was recognized at every competition Step Above attended last season. She loves creating performances that challenge, inspire, and bring people together through the joy of dance.

Paulette and Brian Melo have been together for 22 years and married for 15. Their story began when they met at work, and over the years, their relationship has grown into a true partnership built on love, laughter, friendship, and plenty of adventures.
For the past 20 years, Paulette and Brian have proudly called St. Thomas home. They are proud members of this community and feel incredibly fortunate to have built their life, raised their family, and made so many wonderful memories here over the years.
They enjoy spending time together camping, boating, and taking walks—especially when they can simply enjoy each other’s company. Paulette is outgoing, passionate, and adventurous , while Brian is easy going, reserved, and dedicated. Their personalities may be different, but that’s exactly what makes them such a great match. They truly complete each other and consider each other their best friends.
Their greatest accomplishment and greatest source of pride are their two daughters, who mean the world to them.
After 22 years together, Paulette and Brian are still enjoying life side by side—and tonight, they’re excited to step onto the dance floor, make some memories, and show that the best partnerships are the ones where you laugh, love, and dance through life together.

Morgaine Griffin is a teacher and Central Elgin municipal councillor; Thomas Thayer is the City Clerk for St. Thomas. Their dinners involve discussion of procedural by-laws more often than they involve dessert.
Morgaine said yes to dancing because she’s a sucker for a challenge. Thomas said yes because he’s a sucker for Morgaine.
Each of them is some combination of excited and horrified to show you just how much they can learn in nine weeks of practice!

✨ Meet Coaches Wendy & Clive! ✨

Back for their second year as a coaching duo with Dancing with the Stars for The Station, Wendy and Clive are ready to bring the flair and fancy footwork!
Wendy fell in love with Latin dance at university and has never looked back. She is a professor at Fanshawe College, a consultant with EnergICE Synchronized Skating team with the St Thomas Skating Club and helps with her son’s Elite Edge Power Skating business. Basically, she has built her entire life around telling people where to put their feet!
Clive discovered dance during the pandemic. He works for London Transit, so whether he’s behind the wheel or on the dance floor... he understands timing, tricky turns and keeping everyone moving in the right direction! He also sews his own clothes because every dancer needs a great outfit. Clive also loves spending time with his daughter—his tiniest dance partner and most brutally honest choreographer.
Together, Wendy’s wildness and Clive’s cool, calm energy create plenty of laughter, a little chaos and some unforgettable dancing choreography! Get ready to tap your feet, clap your hands, grin from ear to ear and cheer for their couple!

For the first time, this mother-son duo is trading farm boots and figure skates for dancing shoes in Dancing with the Stars for The Station!
Brady is a farm boy through and through. If he’s not hunting, fishing or kayaking, you’ll find him at every family gathering—because this family guy wouldn’t miss one! As Stacey’s youngest son, Brady brings a personality big enough to brighten any room…and hopefully distract everyone from counting his steps!
Stacey is a former world-level figure skater who recently returned to competition in Oberstdorf, Germany—with just 12 hours of training, because apparently she enjoys doing impossible things for fun! She also returned to coaching at the St. Thomas Skating Club, where her unmatched energy, head-to-toe neon colours and enthusiastic cheering make her impossible to miss.
Get ready for farm-boy charm, skating-star sparkle and enough mother-son energy to light up the entire dance floor. Stacey and Brady are ready to raise the barn roof!
