Introducing… Mr & Mrs Desmarais

Name a hotter couple… I’ll wait! But in all seriousness this day was a literal dream!

The sun went down, the cocktails came out, and Matt and Alycia got married exactly the way they wanted to.

No wedding party. No formal reception schedule. No traditions included just for the sake of tradition. They kept the part that mattered - the promise, the people and an entire evening spent celebrating together.

There’s something magnetic about these two. Their love doesn’t need a spotlight; it becomes one. Watching them move through the night, completely wrapped up in each other and surrounded by so much love, was something I won’t forget.

What an honour to have a front-row seat to it all

The best part of having a coordinator? You don’t have to know about every little problem. If something goes sideways, we handle it, fix it and keep the wedding rolling.
You get the “OMG everything is perfect!” version. We’ll deal with the “OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!” version.

Wedding coordinators do MORE than tell people where to stand.

We’re setting up tables.
Fluffing linens.
Fixing florals.
Moving chairs.
Putting out signage.
Making the ceremony space look epic.
And yes… sometimes we’re on our hands and knees fixing something 10 minutes before guests arrive.

Because apparently getting adults to show up at the right place, at the right time, wearing the right thing, is harder than it sounds. Add a flower girl and ring bearer and suddenly we’re running air traffic control.

We think of the weird little things you didn’t know existed.
Who is holding the rings? Where does the marriage licence go? Who moves the flowers? What happens to the ceremony décor? Where does Grandma sit? Who has scissors?!
