Our site features a variety of buildings representing the on-going growth of our community. See re-created businesses, family homes and mills. Enjoy a personal tour and then stroll the Museum. Bring a picnic or pick up food at one of our many local establishments and find a quiet spot to unwind. Customized tours are available for families with young children except on special event days.

Everyday Superheroes make a difference – showing us how lending a helping hand benefits the community!

Say hello to John Webster, Town Crier of Markham, community volunteer, and past Ward 5 Councillor. John has been the Town Crier since 1987, making public announcements across Markham and beyond. John is a passionate volunteer, helping the community whenever he can. John was the Ward 5 Councillor from 2003-2010 and has represented Markham on the international stage, winning many town crying competitions.
