Number 3 in the budget breakdown series!

Transparency in my business and how I do things is an integral part of the way I run my business. There should be no hidden fees, no questions you feel you can’t ask and no hiding behind ‘walls’ to see what you’re really curious to know. I started this series to help couples more transparently see how past couples of mine have broken down their budgets.

This budget was for a couple who prioritized entertaining their guests and their experience, as well as capturing it all on photo and video.

(again, just a reminder that yes, these are real couples, with real budgets and therefore have been prioritized to their hopes and dreams. not all weddings and not all budgets will be one size fits all...and that’s how it should be! Working with a planner who understands this and works with your budget and your dream is key!).

Your crew brings the vibe to the day

If you’re choosing to have a bridal party, choosing your people carefully is a MUST. They‘re the people who are going to be hyping you up all morning ( before your get to see your partner), the ones you’ll lean on if need by and their happiness and willingness to be there for you throughout this journey and on the wedding day is so important!

My advice after 11 years and dozens on dozens of wedding morning?
If you picture them bringing anything other than support, joy, excitement and love to your wedding day...leave them as a guest.

Whether a big party or a small one, the people who love you the loudest should be the ones you choose to stand by you

Of course I love the design elements and the details, but to really know me is to know my WHY on a deeper level.

I truly cherish the relationship we build together over the months that go into creating your wedding day. I treasure this so deeply! Your day is more than just a day to me.

Even deeper though is that my boys are always going to raised in a household where they believe they can do anything they put their minds to and seeing me live my dream job, even though it’s not a conventional job, but one where I get to be creative and nurture relationships, is the best way to show this value!

I want them to be proud of what I do and how I help people. And when they get excited to sit at the “fancy table” to eat dinner...well that’s just a bonus

The holidays bring warmth, joy… and lots of wedding talk

If you’re engaged, chances are someone’s saying,
