🚨 Exit Wound 🚨
Formed in 2019 in Calgary, AB, Canada, Exit Wound is a four piece metal band. Dressed in blood-stained white t-shirts, Exit Wound’s image evokes the same impression as their name – fast, aggressive, and uncompromising. The lineup consists of Griffin Brown (vocals, guitar), Jeremy Brigham (guitar), Reece Kittlaus (vocals, drums), and Lachlan Allemeier (bass guitar, vocals).
Exit Wound began as an old-school thrash band, and released their debut LP, Rising Terror, in 2022. Since then, Exit Wound has evolved their sound to incorporate aspects of thrash and death metal, with an infusion of hardcore, and a blackened edge. This shift in tone led to the creation of 2025’s suffer, which focuses on simpler, heavier, and angrier musical styles. Lyrically, their music tackles themes of conflict, violence, and death, and draws inspiration from the turmoil of the world, both past and present.
With a vast range of individual influences, Exit Wound has forged a unique blend of writing and performance, utilizing three lead vocalists and a dual guitar attack for riffs and solos. This collaborative approach has become key to the band’s identity and has helped them forge a sound and style that are recognizable and connects with their audience.
With new music out, Exit Wound is using their momentum to expand into Western Canada, and deliver their crushing and energetic sound to new audiences in 2026.
