Definitely a detail we can not have slip through the cracks!
So planning ahead will always help ensure you are not caught off guard (too much)

❗️Okay how do we avoid this:

1. Figure out where both rings will be during the morning. Are they needed for photos?

2. Confirm who will be holding the rings into ceremony & when should they have them in their possession by

3. Ensure to give this task to your MOH & BM - they should help keep track of where they are

4. Create a "ceremony pack" with checklist. It can be as simple as a big ziploc bag with a list written on the outside. You want your vows, marriage license, rings & anything else needed

5. Ensure to do a full check for everything needed before you leave your getting ready location!

✨️If you've hired a Day of Coordinator, they shall be the ones stepping in to find the right solution- so rest at ease

❕️And if you must know our answer....
We've sent someone to grab the forgotten rings because the drive time & ceremony start time made sense. We pushed it out 15min and we made up the time during cocktail!

The call really can only be made when you've reviewed how it'll effect the timeline & additional steps required to quickly solving it ----- 😉 something we're pros at

True story... our poor couple had their room canceled on them, but how'd that happen??

All their decor items had been packed up, being delivered to their hotel suite for the night. We had set this up to ensure they could simply walk out of the reception hall with as little as possible.

But that didn't happen.... 😓

It's seems that when the bride had called to "release" the nonbooked blocked rooms, the front desk canceled their room, too! 🤦🏽‍♀️

An honest mistake - that impacted our end of night in a big way

How do you avoid this happening to your wedding night?
- review all your booking reservations for your guests and yourself as soon as you have all your RSVPs back
- ensure you'll be getting booking confirmations leading up to your wedding day
- plan to store your decor within a vehicle, taken in another car, or stored at venue overnight... find a way to make the teardown as easy as possible

And for a quick & smooth check-in...
- take screenshots of your last booking reservation email & have your ID handy
✨️when possible, try to check in earlier in the day!✨️
