The Knee Bender, a classic😂

I stopped sharing ceremony scripts with couples maybe back in 2018 or 2019 for two BIG reasons:

1️⃣ It helped couples be insanely present during their ceremony (since they didn’t know what I was going to say)

and

2️⃣ It led to these hilarious, authentic response to the stories I was telling

My preference is a couple shows up and gets to EXPERIENCE getting married, they’re not bogged down by details or cues or thinking through moments in the script. They’re just FULLY present as they marry their best friend, and to me, that’s the BEST way to get married✌🏼

Some of my favs from Amanda and Jesse’s celebration🫶🏼

I’ve always found couples origin stories to be hilarious, and I love nothing more than telling guests about that humble, often awkward first meeting led us to this moment🙌🏼

Amanda and Jesse, thank you for being so fun, and sweet and so trusting of the process. I LOVED sharing in your celebration!

Fun fact, their wonderful photographer .edgar.photo, photographed me in my previous life as a model💁🏻‍♂️

Thankfully I can’t seem to find any of those, because, well, looking at old photos of yourself makes you feel a bit weird, no? 🙈 And , if those photos of 15 year younger Jeff do exist somewhere, the world isn’t ready for them😂

Her future husband, she just didn’t know it yet.

Honestly, a bit hard to believe she didn’t know right away, I mean there was Gabe, laying on the her friends living room floor a drink or two later, belting out Coldplay’s “Fix You,” buuut she came around😂

Paige and Gabe, I loved every single second of standing with you both and sharing your story to your closest people. Thank you for bringing me along 🫶🏼

Our team of officiants keeps growing, and that means 2 very important things:

1. More couples than ever are going to get better, more engaging and meaningful ceremonies

and

2. More homes are going to be funded and built in Guatemala✌🏼

To see this realized makes me so, so happy 🥹 Putting these pieces together was a 14+ year journey of figuring out, refining, and focussing on a very specific goal, and I’m living in what I hope are just the beginning stages of this mission.

Thank you to the wonderful officiants who put their trust in TC, to the couples who trust us to deliver a great ceremony, and to all of you for supporting this work and cheering me on🤍

Talking with Louie and Greg was like talking to old friends - they have this amazing ability to make you feel like you’ve been part of their crew forever✌🏼

Every step of the way they had me laughing, and we didn’t break that streak for their wedding😂
