Recently my daughter Lenore - who works with us as our event co-ordinator - and I got to step in front of the camera for a branding shoot which I admit was a little outside of my comfort zone.

However… if every day could involve boas, disco balls, and sparkly sunglasses, that would be amazing.

And here are things nobody tells you about running a photo booth company:

• You will own an unreasonable number of feather boas.
• Disco balls will somehow become normal household décor.
• You’ll spend a lot of time making sure everyone else looks amazing… while you stay behind the camera.
• Technology will more than occasionally test your patience.
• Guests will do things in front of the camera that absolutely make your night.
• And every event reminds you that you’re capturing moments and memories that people will cherish.

After all these years in the event world, that last one is still my favorite part.

Also…every once in a while it’s fun to step in front of the camera too!

On this International Women’s Day, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the amazing women who stand beside me in this business.

Over a thousand guests.
Stunning Lunar New Year décor.
One of Toronto’s most prestigious charity galas.

We had the pleasure of being part of the Yee Hong Community 37th Annual Dragon Ball held at the iconic Automotive Building at Exhibition Place.
The venue was transformed with vibrant red installations and beautiful cultural elements as guests gathered to support the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation and welcome the Year of the Horse.

For the evening, our team designed two interactive guest experiences:
📸 Print Photo Booth
Elegant portraits and instant keepsakes for guests to take home.
🎥 360 Video Booth
A dynamic experience where guests stepped onto the platform to capture cinematic moments from every angle.

Experiences like these are just one of the ways we’re helping events become more interactive, immersive, and memorable for guests.

The black tie event included a Grand Reception, Gala Dinner and Signature Live and Silent Auctions. The evening also featured incredible performances, cultural experiences, and distinguished guests including Doug Ford.

Events like this come together through the incredible work of many talented teams, and we’re always grateful to play a part in bringing the guest experience to life.
Our team absolutely knocked it out of the park that night. So proud of the crew who kept both experiences running smoothly all evening! 👏

AI is transforming the photo booth industry.
And I’m here for it.

Last week in Las Vegas, I had the privilege of speaking at the Strong Women’s Conference during the Photo Booth Expo on “Prompts, Platforms & Pitfalls of Photo Booth AI.”

I shared what many are only just beginning to realize:

→ AI photo experiences don’t succeed by chance.
→ Great results come from intentional prompts, rigorous testing, and deep platform understanding.
→ The real magic happens before the guest ever steps in front of the camera.

Since entering this industry in 2019 as an “Accidental Photo Boother,” I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the technology behind immersive photo and video experiences - and now also helping shape where this industry is heading next.

Standing in a room full of brilliant female entrepreneurs discussing the future of AI in experiential events was powerful, energizing, and just the beginning.

The future of photo experiences is intelligent, personalized, and AI-driven - and look out because these women are only getting started.

As the 2025 season comes to an end, my heart is full 🤍

From sold-out wedding weekends to unforgettable celebrations, we are so deeply grateful. To every couple who trusted us with their once-in-a-lifetime moments, every planner who brought us into their vision and vendor partner who we collaborated … thank you. Truly.

As a female business owner, this has been one of the hardest and most rewarding journeys of my life. This year our team absolutely crushed it by building something magical together with more creativity, more seamless experiences, more joy captured and more memories created than ever before.

And to my husband, Ray, thank you for being by my side and my behind-the-scenes magic maker. You believed in this dream long before I did. I couldn't do this without you.
