Join Duo Mycelia for an exceptional musical experience made up of classical favourites, as well as their original musical work called "A Personal Journey of Being". Isabella Perron and Simon Gidora, both passionate violinists, pianists, and singers, perform together as Duo Mycelia .

It's a hopeful exploration of dissonance and resonance as it relates to human consciousness, combining instrumental selections and original songs. This program takes listeners on an extraordinary journey into the depths of individual freedom, personal responsibility, loss, and catharsis.

This Father’s Day, join us for a relaxed and memorable evening at High Beam Dreams.

We’re bringing together great food, live music, and the kind of atmosphere that invites you to slow down and enjoy time with the people who matter most.

The evening begins with BBQ by Cody Chancellor, a local artist known for his exceptional BBQ and passion for bringing people together over good food.

As the sun begins to set, settle in for live music by Duane Watson, a seasoned singer-songwriter whose journey spans decades.

This is more than just an event, it’s an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Much like our Mother’s Day High Tea, we hope to grow this into a tradition that families return to year after year.

Father's Day BBQ & Live Music: A Celebration for Dad!

This Father’s Day, join us for a relaxed and memorable evening at High Beam Dreams.

We’re bringing together great food, live music, and the kind of atmosphere that invites you to slow down and enjoy time with the people who matter most.

The evening begins with BBQ by Cody Chancellor, a local artist known for his exceptional BBQ and passion for bringing people together over good food.

As the sun begins to set, settle in for live music by Duane Watson, BC's own seasoned singer-songwriter, son of a war vet' born in Calgary, Alberta. Duane was a musically gifted child and started his musical journey at age 7 with his first guitar, a beloved Christmas gift, from his parents.

Duane's passion for country music was inspired and influenced by classic country troubadours like Hank Williams Jr & Sr, Kris Kristofferson, George Jones, Don Williams, Steve Earle, John Prine, and the like. He covers these legends (and many others) beautifully.

Duane released his brilliant 3rd INDIE album Sins of an Outlaw in April 2026, a band-backed compilation of memories and tunes he wrote during some darker days in his early life.

His much anticipated first SOLO album Son of a War Vet was released in late fall 2025, a glorious dedication in honour of war vets, pea
