Calling all gamers!

CBC Kids is looking for gamer duos in Toronto, Ontario, and the surrounding GTA, for a brand-new video series.

We are looking for kids ages 13 and up who love to have fun, are comfortable in front of a camera, chatty and not afraid to look a little silly.

For consideration, a parent or guardian will need to fill out the submission form at lnk.bio/cbckids. The form must include a one-minute short video that demonstrates the applicant’s ability to play video games and talk at the same time.

A submission form is required for each participant.

If your child wants to play with their bestie, each parent or guardian will need to submit a form on their child’s behalf. Once each bestie has submitted, please email us directly at [email protected] to let us know which applications to match together for review.

On October 27, 2025, 1844 Studios and BE Collective will host the BE Collective Connect-Hire Career Expo at MacEwan University, bringing together over 15 exhibitors and more than a hundred participants. The Citadel Theatre is looking for new Light Walkers to add to our roster for some of our upcoming productions.

A few details:
- A Light Walker stands/sits and moves about the stage to allow the lighting designer to accurately see how a lighting cue looks. This position requires you to stand for an extended period of time.
- This position is paid and offers $15 per hour.
-Being familiar with terms like stage left, stage right, down stage, up stage is needed.
