This large-scale wedding installation was such a perfect match for the warm, rustic charm of Cobblestone Farm right here in Northumberland County. There’s something magical about creating on this scale, surrounded by blooms that feel so right for the season.

Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and bought Quinn’s Blooms—a flower shop with deep roots and a huge legacy in our community.

What started as a job under the guidance of the original owner and master florist Ted Quinn quickly grew into a love for flowers and a passion for being part of so many meaningful moments right here in the town where I grew up.

From those early days of learning to today, we have not only grown a thriving business but also built an incredible, supportive team who share my vision for creativity, connection, and community. 💐

Here’s to another year of growth, beauty, and community-building—thank you for letting us be a part of your lives for the last 8 years.

Our Story

Our team includes 6 beautiful and talented ladies. Julie the owner since October 2017 is a fiercely independent woman with a vibrant and nature inspired design approach who has put her own impression on this already established and respected business.

Store manager Melissa has been at Quinn’s since her mid-teens. She is a floral veteran with the plant knowledge to prove it. She is the grease that keeps the gears rolling in the shop daily life. Melissa is a dog lover and can’t wait to greet you and your Fido next time you stop by.

Heather started her career as a co-op student at Quinn’s before moving to Ireland and opening her own store. Once she moved back to Cobourg she joined the team again and we can thank her as well as Melissa for ever evolving and creative window displays.

Wedding designer Jean has also previously owned her own store before joining Quinn’s several years ago. Jean loves a rich and full, luxurious design style.
