One thing I loved about this wedding on Saturday ? Nick & Shivani made sure every member of their family was part of the celebration by bringing in a pet attendant service to care for their pups while they said "I Do." The best idea EVER!

Long before weddings, I learned sign language and gained an appreciation for the Deaf community.
(TBH-I'm so rusty as it's been so long, but I remember the basics.)

But yesterday was an awakening.

I had the honour of marrying a couple who are deaf, and it gave me an even deeper appreciation for the care, preparation, and intention that goes into making sure everyone is truly "heard."

Their hands do so much more than hold the hand of the person they love.

Their hands offer love, comfort and reassurance.

Their hands are a lifeline — carrying every "I love you," every promise, and every dream.

As they exchanged vows, I was reminded that love has never depended on sound.

It lives in connection, understanding, patience, and presence.

Watching them sign their promises to one another was one of the most beautiful moments I've witnessed.

And yesterday, their hands said everything. 🤍

Sunday's annual open house at Penryn Park was one of those days that fills your cup.

Huge shoutout to Judy, who I affectionately kept calling "Oprah" all day because somehow she manages to bring incredible people together and create a little bit of magic wherever she goes. ✨

I didn't take nearly enough photos, but the energy was amazing. It was so great connecting with fellow wedding pros who pour their hearts into making wedding days unforgettable.

One of my favourite things about this industry is that the best people don't compete—they collaborate.

We cheer each other on.
We celebrate each other's wins.

I don't take that for granted.

Here's to building relationships, creating magic for couples, and being surrounded by people who genuinely love what they do. 🤍

The setting: 7pm Saturday evening ~ the last wedding of May.

Mother Natures lighting was perfect 🌅

The couple: Sam + Chris,..What started as a first date 9 years ago, turned into an eight-hour conversation neither of them wanted to end and who are cat parents to Angus and Poe- who wish they could've been there 🐈‍⬛

My cheeks still hurt from smiling from the joy you shared with us.

The last Saturday of May couldn't have been more perfect. ✨

At Whispering Springs, where time seems to slow down and the world feels a little quieter, Madison & Tyler said "I Do." 🤍

From movie marathons and shared playlists to all the little things that make a relationship uniquely theirs (including the firm belief that no white condiments belong in their home 😆), they have built something truly special—a safe place to laugh, grow, and call home.
