SLEEPOVER TIPS FROM OUR EXPERIENCE! โจ
๐ค Keep bedtime fun, and the morning easy!
๐ Start the party at 5โ6 PM at the earliest
Give everyone time to arrive, settle in, eat, and get comfortable before the evening really gets going! If guests arrive too early, it makes for a very LONG night (for everyone!)
๐จ Keep them busy in the evening!
Have a few activities planned to keep the fun going:
Games ๐ฒ
Crafts ๐จ
Spa time ๐
Karaoke ๐ค
Movies ๐ฌ
Anything that gets them laughing and having fun!
๐ฑ Keep your phone close by!
Let parents know that they may get a call if their child decides theyโd like to go home. Itโs completely normal, especially for first-time sleepovers! โค๏ธ (We hear it almost every weekend!)
โ๏ธ Pick-up after breakfast
I recommend having parents pick up after breakfast, around 9โ10 AM at the latest. (I had this conversation with a Mom today, can't recommend it enough hearing stories of kids staying until noon or later and the Moms realizing they need a break after a long (sometimes sleepless night) ๐ฅน
It keeps the morning relaxed and gives everyone a chance to wake up, eat, and enjoy a little more time together, but not too much time! ๐
๐ MOST IMPORTANTLYโฆ
Keep it fun, flexible & low-pressure!
Every child is different, and sometimes a little homesickness happens but the goal is for everyone to have a safe, happy night theyโll remember! โจ
We are so happy to be a part of your celebrations ๐ฉท
