Kids parties don't have to be full of surgery treats.

Having a smaller home doesn't mean that you can't host a party.

Sometimes the perfect detail you have in your mind doesn't work out the same way - and no one notices but you.

These are all things that I've learned and live by after 9 years of planning events.

Everything that went wrong with this party.

I spent hours on these custom field mats. Stacked everything I could find on top to weigh them down and flatten them.

Ran out of time to steam the backdrop the way I wanted.

I wanted to use real wheatgrass to place the cookies on but couldn't source it locally.

You know what his first words were when he saw his party?

"Wow. This looks so cool. Can I play with the soccer balls?"

Sometimes, the inner thoughts, the perfect details, don't matter as much as the reason you're throwing the party in the first place.

Recently I had the opportunity to work with Fortuna's Row for a client's 50th birthday for her husband.

she had a vision: warm amber hues that compliment the venues vibe.
