We want to thank all our loyal members for your support and participation over the last three years. We have shared in dozens of courses, hundreds of dance events, over sixty concerts, dozens of film festivals, fourteen music videos produced, many comedy nights, and dozens of private events and weddings. We are grateful to our primary doner, volunteer and visioneer Garnet McPherson who has kept our doors open for all of us these last few years. Unfortunately These funds are exhausted and without municipal funding our programming can no longer be sustained and our doors are closing for the last time. Again Thanks To All Of You!

Brightons Centre For The Arts Funding Appeal.

Over the past year The Arts Club in Brighton has supported and raised funds for over 16 local arts, cultural and humanitarian organizations.

Yet our very existence is at stake for 2017.
We are currently trying to raise funds to sustain The Arts Club as a centre for the arts for Brighton and in doing so
we are happy to also help any local organization in any way we can with fund raising events.

So provided we are still able to keep operating we would be glad to host any event for you or any organization you are associated with.

We would appreciate your support and would happy to make the space available if you wanted to help us with a fund raising event in support of this centre for Arts and Culture.

We are now engaged in our fund raising program for this years funding. Currently The Arts Centre is in need to raise just $12,000 to stay open for 2017. if you know any doners that support the arts and might consider supporting this project please let us know.

BREAKING NEWS - British recording star Katey Brooks is making a surprise stop on her cross Canada tour and stopping in Brighton to perform for the citizens of Northumberland! She is coming to do a benefit concert for the arts in Brighton on Friday June 3rd at The Arts Club at 8 Loyalist Drive Unit 3. We are so excited. Concert Times are 7 pm and 9 pm Tickets are only $10 with a portion of proceeds going to support local arts projects.

Its a real honor to have such a star come to our town.
Singer-songwriter Katey Brooksʼ unique sound epitomizes the culturally diverse environment in which
she grew up. Born and raised between Bristol, London and Arizona to musical parents, the Indie
Award nominee is best described as a female Hozier, with all the haunting intensity and every bit of the
soul.
With a “voice to melt glaciers” (Venue Magazine) Brooks is at home anywhere she can take her guitar.
From the London 2012 Olympics to Glastonbury Festival, from WOMAD to Abbey Road, Brooksʼ
“devastating vocal talent” (Just Music That I Like) has garnered her admirers from across the spectrum
of the industry, seeing her feature on tracks with Paloma Faith, Imelda May, The Rolling Stonesʼ Bill
Wyman, Nick Mason of Pink Floyd and Brian May – not to mention sharing the bill with acts like
Newton Faulkner, Ghostpoet, Deaf Havana and Mystery Jets.
Fast becoming a radio favourite, “not to be missed” (Time Out) Brooksʼ music has been hailed on BBC
Radio 1, 2 and 6, and she's recently been added to the Starbucks playlist worldwide. The haunting,
ethereal sound of her latest I Fought Lovers EP is prelude to the sonic largesse of future releases, as

inspiration from the people she meets. The writing for her current album began in the chaos of London

MARCH BREAK EVENTS - Complete Listing

The Arts Club in Brighton has planned a number of March Break Events including $5 film screenings and $8 dances and Free Open Mic Concerts!

FRIDAY MARCH 11
A Film Screening of "Good Will Hunting" with Robin Williams at 7 pm Friday
followed by a comedy "Election" at 930 pm Friday

SATURDAY MARCH 12
Saturday the screening room will be showing the family film matinee "Hotel Transilvania 2 " at 1:30

But Saturday night the club will be transformed into a night club for teens with THE BACKSTAGE VIDEO DANCE CLUB starting at 8 pm-11pm

SUNDAY MARCH 13
Sunday there is an open mic concert at 2 PM
and a concert film with "Bob Dylan Live at the Newport Folk Festival" at 7pm
followed by a film about "The Complete Monterey POP Festival" screening at 9:30 pm

MONDAY MARCH !4
Monday features a comedy film "Hot Fuzz" at 7 pm
and a concert film with "Adele Live At The BBC" at 9:30pm

TUESDAY MARCH 15
Tuesday features a concert film "Katy Perry Prismatik" at 7 pm
and the classic "American Graffiti" at 9:30

WEDNESDAY MARCH 16
Wednesday will feature an "Ant-Man" screening at 7 pm
and "Trainwreck" at 9:30 pm

THURSDAY MARCH 17
Thursday has the "Tylor Swift 1989 Tour" screening at 7 pm
and "Straight Outta Compton" at 9:30 pm

FRIDAY MARCH 18
Friday at 7 pm "X-Men" with be screened followed by
the film “Cobain Montage Of Heck” at 930 pm

SATURDAY MARCH 19
Saturday the 19th "Wrek-It Ralph" will be featured at a 130 matinee
with "The Martian" being screened at 7:00 pm
followed by a Teen Video Dance at 9:30

SUNDAY MARCH 20
Sunday there is an open mic concert at 2 PM

Note: The Video Dance cost $8 at the door and admission to the Brighton Film Clubs screenings are only $5
So there is lots to do during March Break at the Arts Club with events happening at 8 Loyalist Drive in Brighton with a portion of proceeds from all events going to support Arts Programs at ENSS.
