MESSAGE TO OUR STAFF:

Today was one of those days that truly showed the character of our team.

At approximately 4:00 a.m., our facility experienced a break-in. Items and cash were stolen, and one of our door windows was smashed. It was a stressful and frustrating way to start the day, but what happened next is something we are incredibly proud of.

Despite the damage and disruption, our staff pivoted quickly, stayed focused, and worked together so that we were able to open within an hour and still welcome families for 13 birthday parties and regular visits throughout the day.

Many customers noticed that something had happened overnight, and we received countless kind words and thank-yous about how our staff handled the situation and continued to make families feel welcomed, safe, and taken care of.

Nina, Gord, and the entire Joey’s World family want to sincerely thank our staff for their hard work, professionalism, tenacity, and heart today. We have not had a chance to thank everyone individually yet, but please know how much we appreciate you.

Days like today remind us how fortunate we are to have such dedicated people representing Joey’s World.

Thank you for showing up, stepping up, and making it work.
