✨ Event Planning Tip Tuesday ✨

As event planners, we’ve seen it all! 😅 From seamless conferences to those, well, let’s just say… less seamless ones. Here’s a quick list of my DO’s & DON’Ts when planning your next !

✅ Do start with clear goals. What do you want attendees to take away? What is the purpose of the conference? Setting objectives early on helps you shape everything from speakers to swag.
❌ Don’t overstuff the schedule. Nobody likes running from session to session—give people time to breathe, network, and absorb the content.
✅ Do engage with your speakers early. Build strong relationships with them and provide them with the chance to tailor their sessions for your conference goals specifically.
❌ Don’t ignore . Make sure your venue and materials are accessible to all attendees, from those with mobility challenges to those with visual or hearing impairments.
✅ Do create a detailed budget and stick to it. Knowing exactly where every dollar is going (and what you want to spend your money on) will keep things on track and prevent any surprises.
❌ Don’t ignore the small details. It’s easy to get lost in the big picture, but small touches (like signage or tech checks) can make or break the experience!
