A couple of months ago, God placed a burden on my heart.

I was reflecting on the couples I’ve had the honour of serving.

Some are in Bible college.
Some are pastors.
Some are preparing, after marriage, to go into mission fields where Christianity is barely known.

Many of these couples have made intentional financial sacrifices to serve God and follow a greater purpose.

Some have left healthy paychecks.
Some have chosen ministry pathways over more comfortable options.
Some are saying yes to God even when it costs them personally.

And honestly, that really stayed with me.

As someone who specialises in photographing Christian weddings, especially for pastors, ministry workers, and couples who love Jesus, I kept thinking:

I can’t bless every couple with a free wedding.

But I can do something.

So in 2026, I’m gifting one wedding photography package to a couple serving in ministry.

Entirely free.

A week ago, my previous pastor, Blake, came back from the US. I was reminded of a prayer he prayed over me about a year ago, that God would bless my business so that I could bless others, even to the point of photographing weddings for free out of the overflow.

When I remembered that, I was honestly in awe of God’s timing.

This idea had already been sitting in my heart for over a year.

So here’s the call-out.

If you know an engaged couple who has taken a financial step of faith because of ministry, I’d love to hear their story.

Eligible couples may include:

Pastors.
Ministry workers.
Missionaries.
Bible college students on a pathway toward pastoral ministry.

This is especially for couples who are serving God in a way that has come with real personal or financial sacrifice.

Nominations close 30 June 2026.
Selected couple will be contacted by 15 July 2026.

If you know someone, tag them or send me their story.

And if you’re a wedding vendor, venue, florist, planner, celebrant, musician, stylist, or creative and this resonates with you, I’d love to chat.

Maybe we can bless this couple together.

ā€œWe love because He first loved us.ā€

Not every wedding feels like two families gathering.

Some feel like two worlds becoming one.

Gavin & Sheetal’s wedding at Gledswood Homestead & Winery was exactly that. Nestled amongst the rustic charm, rolling grounds, and historic backdrop, it felt like the perfect setting for two families and communities to come together as one. (Gledswood Homestead)

Maybe we have a soft spot for venues like this because Chloe and I were married in a rustic venue ourselves back in Melbourne. There’s something about weathered timber, open skies, and country charm that makes a wedding feel warm, welcoming, and deeply personal.

What stood out most wasn’t just the beautiful location.

It was watching friends become family.

Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different journeys.

All gathered in one place to celebrate Gavin & Sheetal.

From heartfelt embraces to packed dance floors, from emotional speeches to the sparkler exit that lit up the night, every part of the day pointed to the people who love them most.

A wedding is never just about two people.

It’s about the community that surrounds them, supports them, and walks with them into the next chapter.

Congratulations Gavin & Sheetal. What a privilege it was to witness the beginning of your forever.

When I ask most of my Christian couples,
ā€œWhat are you most looking forward to after the wedding?ā€ šŸ‘€

Usually it’s the practical things.

ā€œI’m looking forward to not dropping her home after we hang.ā€
ā€œNo more long drives back alone.ā€
ā€œNo more standing outside saying goodbye for another 30 minutes.ā€ šŸ˜‚

Then Jonatas answered differently.

And honestly… the more I reflected on it, the more I understood.

S*x was never the world’s idea first.
It was God’s.

Created for good.
Created to be fully enjoyed within the safety, commitment, and covenant of marriage. šŸ¤

Maybe that’s why I admire couples who choose honour before marriage so much.
Because every boundary, every late-night goodbye, every act of restraint is really saying:

ā€œWe believe God’s design is worth trusting.ā€

Then one day, what was once protected becomes something beautiful to celebrate.

Not because marriage suddenly makes love meaningful.
But because covenant gives intimacy the weight and safety it was always designed to carry.

Jonatas & Nora reminded me that God’s design isn’t outdated.
It’s still beautiful.

Average bridal party ruins wedding photos.

Fortunately for Harry & Jisoo…
they somehow assembled the Avengers of bridal parties. 🫔✨

Not just hyping themselves up for the camera,
but constantly looking after Harry & Jisoo all day long.
Fixing dresses. Carrying flowers. Calming nerves. Making space. Bringing energy.
Praying over the newlyweds.

You can always tell when a bridal party understands the assignment:
ā€œThis day isn’t about us. It’s about serving the couple well.ā€

And honestly?
That changes everything in the photos AND films.

At Paddington Reservoir Gardens, Frankie guided the crew through a hybrid photo + video that felt less like a production… and more like friends creating memories together.

A little movement here.
A little interaction there.
Cinematic clips without turning the day into a movie set. šŸŽ¬

Just good people, fully present, helping Harry & Jisoo have the best day possible.

And trust me…
you can feel that in every frame.

Nathan & Joanne’s session reminded me of something.

Before Chloe and I got married, I remember how hard it was trying to honour the Lord while navigating an engaged season full of excitement, emotions, and physical boundaries.

That’s why sessions like this mean so much to us.

Couples shouldn’t feel like they need to compromise their convictions just to create beautiful photos.

Nathan & Joanne didn’t need to perform or force moments that didn’t feel true to them.
Just two people pursuing each other with gentleness, intention, and faith. ✨

And somehow, that always creates the most meaningful photos.

Nathan & Joanne, thank you for trusting us to capture this season of your story. šŸ¤āœļø

Built on the Cross āœļø

Not every proposal starts with a ring.
This one started with a cross.

Met Timothy at a wedding two months ago…
a few conversations later, I’m standing here watching something different unfold.

Not just a ā€œwill you marry me?ā€ moment.
But a why we’re doing this moment.

He didn’t just plan a proposal…
he commissioned a cross to be built.

Before the knee hit the ground,
before the flowers, before the setup…

They stood before the cross.
Made promises. Prayed. Chose Jesus first.

Then we moved to the proposal setup by My Proposal Co. —
where Timothy got down on one knee
and asked Yeeler to do life together, God at the centre.

And she said yes. šŸ¤

I say this a lot… but this one hit different.
Because it wasn’t just about a moment.

It was about a foundation.

Honoured to be the one behind the lens,
capturing not just a proposal —
but the beginning of a covenant.

—

If you’re planning something meaningful, not just memorable…
I’d love to help you capture it.

Harry & Jisoo’s wedding day was marked by one simple prayer:
That Jesus would be magnified.

From the very beginning, their day felt centered on something deeper than celebration alone. At Trinity Evangelical Church, the place they’ve faithfully served, worshipped, and called home, they stood before God and their loved ones and entered into covenant.

Their ceremony was a beautiful reflection of what Christian marriage is truly meant to be — not just romance, not just partnership, but a covenant before the Lord. Pastor Matt led the service with clarity and grace, continually pointing everyone back to God’s design for marriage.

But what made the day especially unforgettable was the courage Harry & Jisoo carried into it.

They openly shared their testimony — speaking honestly about how they came to faith and turning their wedding day into something more than a celebration of love. It became a witness. A reflection of God’s goodness. A day that pointed beyond themselves and back to Christ.

Several guests shared that they were present at the church because Harry & Jisoo had personally invited them, walked with them, and journeyed with them in faith. That kind of fruit says so much about the life they’ve built and the way they love others.

The celebration continued at Watersedge, where the evening carried the same sense of joy, reverence, and gratitude that marked the ceremony. It was a beautiful continuation of a day that felt deeply intentional from beginning to end.

When a couple chooses to center their marriage on Christ, the day carries a different kind of weight, depth, and joy.

This is what it looks like when a wedding becomes worship.

I found myself on YouTube 😱and it felt like looking into a mirror I wasn’t ready for.

This conversation with Nathan Chanski isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s the tension behind the scenes.

The long nights.
The wrestle between faith and fear.
The quiet question: ā€œAm I actually trusting God… or just saying I do?ā€

Yes, we talk about building a business that’s done ~$300k.
But this isn’t about numbers.
Because numbers don’t tell you about the sacrifice.
Or the moments where obedience costs more than comfort.

I don’t claim I’ve made it.
If anything, this is just a checkpoint… not the destination.

What I’m learning:
This business isn’t mine to own.
It’s mine to steward.
This is the Lord’s business… I just get to carry it for a season.

Every booking.
Every opportunity.
Every dollar.

All of it — entrusted.
All of it — for His glory.

Grateful for Nathan, not just a brilliant business coach but one that sees live through the lens of Christian faith and the business blueprint he’s poured into me.
Not just for growth… but for alignment.

And for those who ask what it means to specialise in Christian weddings…

It’s not a niche.
It’s a conviction.

It means honouring the covenant, not just capturing the event.
It means creating space for prayer, not just poses.
It means understanding boundaries, not just directing moments.
It means pointing beyond the couple… to Christ.

This isn’t just storytelling.
It’s stewardship of something sacred.

If you’re building something right now and it feels heavy…
you’re not alone in that tension.

From golden light to full send.

At Sergeants Mess, the day unfolded like a perfect symphony.

A waterfront ceremony, kissed by golden hour…
soft light wrapping around every vow, every glance, every quiet promise.

And then—
the switch flipped.

An entrance that set the tone.
Laughter echoing across the room.
A dance floor that didn’t just open… it erupted.

Shoes off.
Ties loosened.
Joy, unfiltered.

The kind of celebration where you don’t check the time…
because you don’t want it to end.

From sacred to electric—
this day held both.

And somehow, it all fit.

Perfectly.

🚢 Starship Aqua

A wedding on the harbour hits different.

From bright daylight to golden hour to a painted sunset — the sky kept changing, and somehow, it just kept getting better. The Sydney Harbour Bridge standing bold, the Opera House glowing in the distance… and right in the middle of it all, David & Eleanor surrounded by their people.

Incredible food. Impeccable service.
But honestly? It was the laughter, the cheers, the kind of joy you can’t manufacture.

This wasn’t just a reception.
It was a celebration in motion.

PS. Massive shoutout to the dream team behind the day — and especially the bride, who carried so much of the vision on her shoulders. You could feel it in every detail šŸ¤
