Wowow, this August (GEDDIT? THIS AUGUST) or should I say this year? has been our busiest yet. And very fitting that it falls in our birthday month too.๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†•๏ธ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

A little update from us ๐Ÿค

Our lovely Jen will be going on maternity leave from the end of October, which means weโ€™ll both be taking a little break from events until January next year. Weโ€™re so excited for her and this new chapter, and weโ€™re also looking forward to having a little time to slow down before another big year.

Behind the scenes, admin will still be running as we start preparing for 2027. And on top of that, Julie will also be starting her own wedding planning journey, so 2027 is already shaping up to be a pretty special year for us.๐Ÿ’

November will be another busy one with Melbourne Cup, and for the second year in a row, weโ€™ve been fully booked by our corporate clients. Yes, we do corporate too! This year weโ€™ll be working across 3 venues, which weโ€™re very grateful for.๐ŸŽ

Itโ€™s been a big year for Last August, and we really wouldnโ€™t be here without everyone who has trusted us with their weddings, events and celebrations.

As always, our inbox is open whenever you need us. Julie is 1000% online at all times, so sheโ€™ll always reply ๐Ÿ˜‚

White orchids, lilies, soft greenery: Kimberlyโ€™s vision was a classic white & green wedding ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒฟ

She knew she wanted an arch for her ceremony, so we designed one that could also be repurposed at the reception to help reduce costs while still making an impact in both spaces.

Repurposing is only possible for certain designs and will always depend on the bump-in time available between the ceremony and reception.

A classic white wedding look can feel simple, but itโ€™s all in the details. The crisp white aisle runner helped create that clean, elegant foundation, while the aisle florals softened the walkway and framed Kimberlyโ€™s walk down the aisle beautifully.

Timeless, romantic and something that will never go out of style ๐Ÿค

Linen & lace welcome signs are officially here ๐Ÿคโœจ

For Kimberlyโ€™s welcome sign, the original plan was to keep it simple with a smaller floral arrangement and no candles. But once we saw everything come together, we suggested repurposing one of her reception floral arrangements and adding candles to create a fuller, more elevated look especially with the larger linen & lace sign.

Kim also originally wanted blue ribbons, but we suggested switching to white satin so everything flowed beautifully with her overall colour palette.

Sometimes itโ€™s those little last-minute styling changes that make the biggest difference, and we absolutely loved how this one turned out ๐Ÿค Kimberly couldnโ€™t have been happier!
