Today, we welcomed our guests for an intimate introduction to Ikebana — the centuries old Japanese art of floral arrangement 🌿

Guided by Daniel, our guests were invited to slow down, connect with nature and discover the beauty of Ikebana through line, balance, asymmetry and negative space.

Together, they explored the three principal lines of Ikebana — SHIN, SOE + HIKAE — before selecting seasonal locally grown blooms and creating their own unique arrangements. Each piece was a reflection of simplicity, intention and the beauty found in the space between.

With Daniel sharing his knowledge and passion for this beautiful Japanese art form, the afternoon was a gentle reminder that floral arranging is not simply about the flowers themselves, but how we see, shape and connect with nature.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for our very first Ikebana workshop and made the afternoon so special 🫶🏼

If you would like to join us on our next Ikebana workshop - send us a DM to join the waitlist 🏯
