MAY vs DIB – THE RETURN: AN UPDATE
It is with real disappointment that we announce MAY vs DIB – The Return will not go ahead on Saturday 10 October.
Our main event fighter has sustained an injury in camp and has been medically ruled out of competing. We explored every option to keep the date, but a championship card without its main event isn’t the show we promised you, and it isn’t fair to the fighter, his opponent, or the fans who bought tickets to see them.
TICKETS
All tickets will be refunded in full, automatically, to the original payment method. Ticketmaster will contact every ticket holder directly with the details. You don’t need to do anything.
TO OUR FIGHTERS
To the 22 professionals and 14 elite amateurs who were preparing for this card – we know what a fight camp costs, and we know what a title shot means. This isn’t the end of that. We are working on our next date now and every one of you will hear from us first.

To the businesses and community organisations who backed this event, and to everyone who bought a ticket or shared a fighter’s code – thank you. Your support is why WA boxing exists, and we’ll be calling on it again.
WHAT’S NEXT
Pathway Boxing was built to give Western Australian fighters a professional stage in their own state, with sanctioned titles to fight for. That hasn’t changed. We’ll announce our next event as soon as the date is confirmed, and we intend to bring this card – with its main event fit and ready – back to Perth in 2027.
