Active Eating is exactly what the bi-line says 'healthy, nutritious and balanced meals for people on the go'. All produce is bought fresh and local, all sauces and marinades are homemade so there is no added sugar, salt or nasties in anything produced; all food is made fresh and frozen on the day. We have a range of meals and snacks that come in two sizes. All meals will be chilled for 3 days or left frozen upon request.

Let’s talk about SUGAR🍬

While there can be a bit of confusion around Sugar, it’s important to know the difference between Refined Sugar and Natural Sugar

🍭 Refined Sugar: Refined Sugar is artificial, and was designed to be added to foods during manufacturing to make foods taste unnaturally good, and become addictive to your brain. Due to the artificial nature of the sugar, it breaks down rapidly resulting in a High Glycemic Index causing a Blood Sugar Spike, and then Sugar Crash. Refined Sugar, and the foods they are added to, are a high risk food for obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Food that may include refined sugars are: cakes, icecream, chocolate, juices, muffins, sauces

🍌 Natural Sugar: Natural Sugar is naturally occurring and is digested slower and helps you feel full for longer, keeping insulin and blood sugar levels steady. Foods that include natural sugar include: fresh fruit an vegetables, grains such as rice and oats, nuts and seeds, plant milk and yogurt.

From little things, big things grow.

This year is all about making as many things from scratch(including fruit, veg and herbs) as possible as most food today is unfortunately not entirely food but made up of lots of nasties; pesticides, seed oils, fillers and preservatives.

It’s so cool@yo watch things grow from a tiny seed planted two weeks ago into what will@be trees and bushes that will feed and sustain us 😍🙏🙃
