Thought I would try something different and do a brief BTS from my perspective as a DJ.

A brief timelapse of me setting up my equipment in the Poolside Marquee at .

This bump in took me about an hour in total, which was lucky as the guests all entered the marquee an hour earlier due to their outdoor cocktail hour plans being impacted by the rain 🌧️

🎤MASTER OF CEREMONIES - PART 1🎤

I finally managed to capture some footage of myself performing the role of MC at a recent wedding at Riverbank Estate.

A master of ceremonies (MC) is the host of an event, responsible for introducing speakers, announcing formalities, coordinating activities, engaging the audience, and ensuring the event runs smoothly and on time.

The MC’s key skills include confident public speaking, audience engagement, and the ability to keep the event’s energy and focus throughout.

The MC Service and Reception Coordination is included as part of my Wedding DJ Package where required, and does not come at an extra cost to the client. As DJ’s, we already have the required microphone and PA equipment, and are in control of the music, so why not have the same professional handle the MC role.
