“We only want candids “ is usually followed by a small apology about feeling awkward when posing. Please never apologise for that! It just helps me know how to photograph you.

The trick is giving you something to do instead of asking you to hold a pose and smile, and I’ll photograph everything that happens around the edges of that prompt.

The surprise is always the same though. That little stretch where it’s just the two of you, away from everyone and all the noise ends up being the favourite part of our couples’ day. ❤️
