This was one of those ceremonies that just felt special from getting out of the car... to getting back in it!

A guest list so freaking happy for them 🫶
Plenty of laughs, a few beautiful little moments, absolutely nothing forced or rigid.

A ceremony needs to be enjoyable and the good ones are remembered forever..... tears and feels!!!not something that you have to get through before the party starts 🥂

I’m so bloody fortunate to be trusted by couples on what is such a freaking special day. ❤️

I always have a huge grin scrolling through the photos that come through after a wedding…

Last Sunday, I celebrated another bday, I managed to convince Alyse to leave the kids for a RARE night out and headed off to The Sassies Awards.
I was lucky enough to somehow win BOTH…CELEBRANT + MC for a 3rd year.
Which is ridiculous. 😂 But it can’t happen without votes from my favourite people… ❤️

What started as a little side hustle has completely blown away any expectations I had 😂
I still get excited every single time I get in the car and head to a wedding.

But the bit people probably don't see is everything that happens around the wedding day... and how much Alyse makes it possible.

The early mornings getting breakfast and school sorted while I squeeze meetings in before the full-time job. The late nights once the kids are finally in bed and I’m still sitting up writing stories, vows, run sheets and ceremonies. The weekends where I head out while everyone is home… and walk back through the door after the kids are already asleep.

There are a LOT of hours behind every wedding.
And after all the late nights, weekends and juggling… I still absolutely LOVE doing it.

So to every friend or past couple who has thrown my name into a group chat when someone says “Does anyone know a celebrant?”... to every photographer, videographer, venue, DJ, musician, planner, florist and wedding industry LEGEND who recommends me…THANK YOU. ❤️ and thanks to the absolute weapons that voted 🫶

From our first meeting, to crafting, right through to the final dance with bringing the party, this day was an absolute cracker!

Jack and Annabell are two of the most beautiful people you could meet, and their review I just read even had the big fella a little wobbly… and cutting onions….

These moments, captured perfectly by at the stunning Settlers Rest — Wedding & Events Venue, are exactly why I feel so lucky to do what I do.

When Nick & Natasha first told me their photographer was Will from Euphoria… I fangirled and it’s justified eh! The photos freakin say it all.

I know bu**er all about photography... but what i have learnt is that great shots isn’t just editing, lighting. It’s creating that space where couples feel completely comfortable being them!!
Mate you can FEEL it in every single one of these beautiful pics!!!

Side note…. Look at the way Nick & Natasha look at each other… Not forced or staged….. Just completely, ridiculously in love ❤️ stunning people inside and out!

Their people wrapped around them all day long and the dance floor was fire! I don’t have favourites….but.. 🤪
