Most people probably wouldn’t share this side of things, but in the couple of years we’ve been doing this, we haven’t come across a problem that we haven’t been able to sort out.

A lot of the work behind the scenes is about making sure everything is right before anyone ever has the chance to notice otherwise.

We spent a lot of time chasing last season’s drainage issue and finally found the culprit: two low spots catching runoff from the marquee.

Our temporary gutter setup has worked a treat, and now we know exactly what needs to be fixed between marquee changes.

A lot of effort goes into making sure everything just works, and that’s the reality of running a venue out here in the bush.

The Makita Australia ML002G

The details:
• Bright white LED – 20 bright white LED’s all the way around the light provides illumination with 710 lumens of brightness.

We’ve used Makita Australia Makita’s 18V LXT lights for quite a while now and they’ve been fantastic, so we’re keen to add a few of the 40V Max lights to the kit this season.

They’re perfect for all those behind-the-scenes jobs that guests hopefully never notice, but that still need functional lighting. Setup, pack down, behind the bar to keep things running, checking access areas, sorting everything out after dark.
