IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING MOREE SALVOS CASTLE HIRE:

Unfortunately The Salvation Army is required to cease hiring jumping castles and other amusement devices immediately. Without going through all the details, with the rise of insurance premiums and fatal accidents across the country with amusement devices it has become untenable to continue the business and services indefinitely.

We are checking if there are any feasible solutions to begin operating again but there are no promises with this.

As you could imagine we are disappointed as you maybe as well. We will bring any updates as they arise.

🌟 Another Amazing Team Member to Highlight 🌟

Say hello to Geoff, our incredible Community Engagement Worker! 🎉 Geoff has been part of the Salvation Army Moree family for almost 8 years (hitting that milestone on 31/05/2025!), working tirelessly to support and engage with the local community. He is dedicated to helping those in need and making a real difference in their lives.
👋 A little about Geoff: In my role, I provide services like NILS Loans (No Interest Loans) with a limit of $2000 for any worthwhile purpose, distribute EAPA vouchers (up to $500 annually) to assist with power bills, and offer emergency relief through vouchers for clients facing hardship. Before joining the Salvation Army, I had a long career in the banking industry since 1968, with my most senior role as State Manager at ESANDA NSW, overseeing 600 staff, including 37 Managers. After retiring, I became the General Manager at Moree Golf Club and then found my passion with the Salvation Army.
✨ What Geoff loves about the job: I love looking after all levels of people and improving their daily lives.
🎯 Fun fact: I might be a little overweight now, but in my prime, I represented Australia in Junior Tennis and played Premier League Squash in Brisbane
🏆 Proud moment at work: Fitting into the Moree Corps team, which is doing amazing community work

Say hello to Jeremiah – our amazing Youth and Children Outreach Worker at Salvation Army Moree! 🎉 He plays a key role in creating a positive and healthy space for kids, giving them a role model they can look up to.

👋 A little about Jeremiah: I love playing music and cricket and spending time with my family.
✨ What he loves about the job: I love to be able to work with kids in a positive and healthy environment, and give them a role model that they can look up to.
🎯 Fun fact: At the age of 16, I was kicked in the head by a horse! 🐴
🏆 Proud moment at work: When kids ask me to be involved in their game at Kids Club.
