It all started on ANZAC Day in London, when Clare spotted a handsome man in uniform….(who could resist) then realised she owed him a fairly hefty sum of money.

The mans did not bat an eyelid though. As far as he was concerned he just landed a convo with the hottest chick he’d ever laid eyes on.

Add a few taxpayer-funded drinks, one tipsy nightclub kiss, a brief accidental friend-zoning, Parisian dates and a move from London to Townsville…and somehow it all worked out perfectly.
Then, on Christmas Day in France, Alex got down on one knee at the top of a mountain, on a cliff’s edge, where Clare briefly thought he was falling off said cliff.

Bought us to their wedding day. From unpaid admin to undeniable love, what an adventure it’s been, and it's only just beginning 🪩🥂

Who has a metal detector!?! 🙈

A cardinal sin was committed here yesterday….
No less than 2 hours after the fabulous Romance meets Rhi announced them husband and wife, the groom lost his ring 🙈

Initial attempts to find it have proved problematic in the long grass, thankfully he married a laidback legend who doesn’t appear to have sent him to the dog house, perhaps the listening to the MC and other guests give him so much grief throughout the reception she thought he’d suffered enough.

If there are any treasure hunters with metal detectors that would like to spend some time in a quiet paddock we’d love to be able to help try and get this ring back to complete their crazy wedding day story.

Turns out while I’ve been busy helping couples say “I do”… my husband and I have been busy creating a little something of our own.
