When this little one asked if we could combine a butterfly with a mermaid as she had seen it in a movie 🧜‍♀️ I couldn’t help but say, “Yes, let’s do it!” 😍 it could have been easier to say ‘No, just pick one or the other’ but… where’s the fun in that!! 😅 .

This is one of my favourite things about face painting 🥺 It’s not just about recreating designs 🎨 it’s about listening to each child’s ideas and bringing their imagination to life ✨ that’s where the magic is!

I always say “Why have one option?.. when you can have both!”
Often the most magical designs are the ones we make up together, maybe it’s the colours or combining ideas together to make it extra special! 🌈 🦋🧜‍♀️

Hi, I’m Jasmine! 🧚‍♀️ The face (and fairy wings!) behind Little Fairy Face Painting 🎨

For over 100 years, I’ve had the privilege of bringing smiles to birthday parties, festivals, community events and family celebrations across Perth 🎪

Creating magical memories has never felt like “work” to me 🩷 it’s something I genuinely love!!

I’m so excited to share a little more about me over the next few posts, so if you’re new here… welcome! ✨

I’d love to get to know you too!! So.. Tell me… how did you find me? Or where did we meet? ✨

People often ask how I became Fairy Jasmine… 🤔🧚‍♀️ it’s a long story but really it all started with a love of art, creativity and a little bit of imagination 💭

As a little girl 👗 I loved dressing up, drawing and creating magical worlds. I never imagined that one day I’d be lucky enough to turn that into a career 👩‍🎨

What began as a creative little weekend pocket money, has now grown into a little business that’s given me the amazing opportunity to meet thousands of amazing families and paint countless smiles over the years 🥰

Every party reminds me why I fell in love with face painting in the first place 🥳 and it’s literally a pinch me moment like.. “I can’t believe I get to do this” 🥹✨

Honestly… I don’t think I could choose just one ☺️ I love birthday parties because they’re so special and full of lasting memories 🥹 🎂 Parents put soo much effort into making their little ones party magical & it’s an honour to be part of! ✨

I also love painting at community events because I get to meet hundreds of different families & often paint along side some of my favourite artists / entertainers!

Every event is different, and that’s exactly what keeps me inspired 🎪 the atmosphere, the connection & even the really random silly design requests too! 🎨

No two weekends ever look the same 😅 and I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

As a general guide:
🎂 Birthday parties: 1–2 months ahead
🎉 Festivals & community events: 3–6 months ahead
🎄 Peak seasons (Christmas, Halloween & Easter): Even earlier!

Yes! A deposit is required to secure your booking 💸

Once your deposit is received, your date and time are reserved exclusively for you. 📆 This allows me to confidently turn away other enquiries for the same time. So please be mindful when making your booking & ensure you read all terms / conditions!

The remaining balance is due before the day of your event, as outlined in your booking confirmation. Any questions?… just ask! 🧚‍♀️✨

Yes, I am! 😊 For your peace of mind, I hold current Public Liability Insurance and use only professional cosmetic-grade face paints that are designed for use on skin 🎨

Safety, hygiene and professionalism are always my priority. 🧼 ✨🧚‍♀️

Health, safety & happy little faces 🎨✨ One of the questions I get asked most is about hygiene, products and what parents can expect on the day 🧚‍♀️ so I’ve put together this little guide to answer some of the most common face painting FAQs 💛 Swipe to see ➡️

🫧 How do I remove the paint?
Easy removal:
Warm water + gentle soap
OR
Baby oil / moisturiser first

No scrubbing needed ✨ baby wipes sometimes can do the job but I encourage applying oil or similar first to melt down the colours first & always be careful when removing glitter around the eyes 👀 ✨

I’ll always do my best to offer alternatives where possible while keeping all children safe and comfortable 💛 So.. everyone’s comfort and hygiene sometimes the answer is no 🙅‍♀️
I may decline painting if there are visible signs of illness, irritation, infection or skin concerns as face paint and brushes come into contact with the skin, and painting over broken or sensitive areas may cause discomfort, delay healing, or increase the chance of spreading germs 🦠

If your child has allergies or sensitivities, please mention this before painting ✨ However if needed please seek medical advice 👩‍⚕️ For hygiene and safety reasons, I may decline face painting if a child has visible signs of illness, active infections, open wounds, healing skin, chicken pox, cold sores, conjunctivitis, fresh scratches, or irritated insect bites. 🧘‍♀️For your peace of mind I only use professional cosmetic-grade face paints. No cheap & nasty ingredients!
Patch testing is available on request. 🧚

Any painters who have worked alongside me know I’m a bit of a germaphobe 🤭 so you can always feel at ease knowing my kit is safe & ready for multiple faces! 👩‍🎨 Clean brushes

🎂 Party Planning Tip: Want Stress-Free Face Painting at Your Child’s Birthday Party? ✨🎨 Face painting is always a crowd favourite, but a little planning goes a long way to making sure everyone gets a turn!

⏰ Schedule face painting before the birthday cake or major party games where possible.

🎳 If games are running during face painting, keep them simple so children can leave the line and jump back in without missing out.

📲 Let guests know on the invitation what time face painting will be available and encourage everyone to arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

🎪 Face painting is one of the easiest party activities because it works indoors or outdoors and can be enjoyed in almost any weather.

🥳 The best part? While the kids are entertained, parents can relax, chat, take photos and enjoy the party too!
