Our WHY is SO MUCH DEEPER than just having fun!
Everything we do is focused on wellbeing and connection…
1) With the rising cost of living, so many households are struggling with longer working hours, school timings, single parenting, housework, extra-curricular activities etc. The balance of household jobs is stretched, which can lead to conflict, resentment/relationship breakdown and in some cases, an increase in domestic violence at various levels. Families no longer have the luxury of spending lots of quality time together, and many parents are exhausted on every level. Thinking about weekend activities is yet another decision to make after a busy week, so an hour or two of switching off while spending time with inspired kids is an important element of wellbeing.
2) Our affordable party options help busy people to celebrate special occasions without needing to organise anything! We have also gathered a large range of themed reusable decorations and games to save resources and the environment! Everyone leaves BFF feeling good, which is what we care about 🫶🏻
3) Social media / technology is creating a barrier for people to interact in person. By being ‘social’ online, people are less likely to interact and build stronger social connections, including family connections. We are still social creatures, however being social behind a screen can cause an increase in social anxiety in real life scenarios, and is not as fulfilling as quality time with real people. We love getting back to basics with zero tech and good, clean fun!
4) Some people are socially, culturally and financially isolated, for various reasons. We dream of creating a safe place to bring all people together with affordable and accessible activities that reduce barriers. We provide opportunities for enjoyment, learning, connection and fun, regardless of who you are!
5) We have big dreams and we started small... We put our heart into BFF with a strong focus on giving back as much as possible and creating a thriving community. Everything in community is circular - supporting each other builds a strong foundation for future generations 🌎
