At Secret Chef Catering we design menu's to suit your occasion working with our clients we make every occasion unique Northern Rivers and Southern QLD

Secret Chef Catering is the ‘foodchild’ of Kaine and Jade Hunt. They can cater for all occasions from Weddings to birthdays, private dinners and special or themed events by combining their 30 years of chefing and front of house expertise. Secret Chef Catering, which is based in the Byron Bay hinterland is available to cater for all events in the Northern Rivers of NSW .This will includes area

s such as Ballina, Byron Bay to Kingscliffe and the hinterland areas as well as Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane in South east Queensland. Specialising in local, fresh produce wherever possible, Secret Chef Catering has developed some great relationships with a diverse range of farmers, growers and fisheries. Using this beautiful fresh produce they individually design menus to cater for your special occasion using the cuisine influences of your personal preference from Modern Australia, Asia, Mediterranean, Europe, USA and South America.

What an amazing day we had at the cricket at Oakes Oval Lismore started with a great breakfast and Q&A with Adam Gilchrist
We made sure the players we ready to play with gourmet rolls, wraps and fresh fruit.
We then provided canape service for the corporate boxes whilst the they enjoyed some great cricket.
It was such a pleasure to be in the new stadium facilities we look forward to many more events there.

An amazing way to cap off 2024!
Kaine and the team produced a European feast in our beautiful Byron hinterland for one of our first Secret Chef customers.

2024 has been a fantastic year for Secret Chef Catering. It saw us return to a pop up with NORPA, create new and previous clients unique menus, our 5th Our Kids winter ball, many weddings, birthdays, business events and gatherings. Thank you for trusting us with your catering needs.

To our team; what can we say but thank you for your effort, great service, wild nights and commitment. We are truely thankful and could not do this without you ❤️

A few weeks back we had the privilege of catering for the skillsNC training awards. We were thrilled one of our waiters Katie who has worked with us just shy of 2 years was up for an award for her year 11 and 12 vocational education hospitality subject.
We were even more proud that she won and has now been selected as a final 3 in the state awards - to be announced next month.
It’s been great to watch her journey into hospitality and her natural ability. Keep kicking goals 😁

Secret chef catered for a beautiful celebration of life last weekend. The close family decided on a long lunch to remember some recently passed members. They used there vintage plates sets and family memorabilia including some favourite foods.
