What started as an old truck turning circle on an abandoned logging trail has slowly transformed into a space that can host a few hundred like-minded people - where we dance, create, connect, and make a lot of noise 😉

Terminus - and events like this - can only happen because of an unreal crew of builders, artists, techs, vollies, friends and family who show up and put in the work. Endless appreciation and love to everyone who gave their time, energy and care to make this space and event what it became 💜

Special shoutouts to some of the crews who helped bring it together:

🔊 Sound: The Zovaruss team for working tirelessly to finish a huge sound system upgrade for the event. It sounded incredible, and there’s more to come

Building & supporting platforms where creatives from Australia and the world can showcase their crafts. That’s what Dreamstate is about.

Happy New Year everyone 💜

We’re finally home, unpacked, and (mostly) decompressed after bringing Terminus to life for NYE.

What we created together blew us away. It was a huge effort from everyone involved, and we’re so grateful to all who helped make it happen - and to everyone who came out and supported the event.

Terminus was a long time in the making. After multiple postponements and nearly a year of adapting plans around weather, sites, and logistics, seeing it finally happen - and land the way it did meant everything.

Most importantly, the night itself was something special.

For us it was one of the fullest, most energetic dancefloors we’ve had the pleasure of hosting. It felt like we blinked and the clearing was suddenly alive - full of movement, smiles, and connection. The energy you brought filled the space and gave new life to a tired crew.

Seeing the lights come on, feeling the bass roll through, and hearing the cheers of friends having fun made all the work worth it. Sharing the countdown into 2026 together was powerful, and locked in that quiet “we did it” feeling.

Fittingly, Terminus is a Latin word meaning “boundary,” “limit,” or “end” - and after everything it took to get there, ending the year on that dancefloor felt exactly where it was meant to land.

At its core, Terminus was built by a small group of close friends, supported by an incredible wider community. It reminded us that when good vibes, mateship, and a shared love for music and each other sit at the centre, everything else falls into place.

To everyone who attended - thank you. You were a pleasure to host. Campsites were left spotless, and the care you showed for each other and the space didn’t go unnoticed.

We’re still unwinding and finishing up the last Terminus errands, but this is only the beginning. More footage, thankyou's and future plans will be coming soon, we’re already thinking about what’s next.

We want to keep building these kinds of spaces with the community - so if you have thoughts or ideas about what you’d love to see moving forward, we’d love to hear from you.

Terminus… what a way to end the year.

We’re exhausted in the best way and overflowing with gratitude, thank you to everyone who came and made it a sold out success and to all the crew who helped bring it to life, massive love to you all.

Quick update — sadly due to personal reasons Waldkind has had to withdraw from this event. Much love and we hope something lines up together in the future 🤍

The upside: we’ve got an incredible last-minute replacement — ARYA is stepping in and we couldn’t be more stoked 🔥

9 days out, under 100 tickets left!

The crew’s already been out on site pulling things apart, clearing space, and making room for what’s coming next. Old gone. New incoming 😉

Weather’s been absolutely cooking this past weekend, but the forecast is looking kind to us - temps dropping next week, and once that afternoon sun clips the trees… phwoar. That golden hour into nightfall is where this place really switches on. 🌀

A little look at the patch of land that’s been with us since 2018/19 — burnt in fires, hit by floods and changed owners… yet somehow still here, still standing, still welcoming us back.
It’s dusty, it’s hot, it’s raw bushland — but it’s ours, and we treat it with the respect it deserves. ❤️‍🔥

Thanks to the generosity of the new owners, we’re able to keep building on this space, clearing new areas and slowly improving things in a way that works with the land, not against it. This is a big part of why Terminus is a private, invite-only gathering: we want to grow sustainably, with our community and with the places that hold us.

Access is straightforward, but please note the site sits low — in the rare case of extreme rain, it may become 4WD-only. Highly unlikely, but worth keeping in mind.

Less than three weeks out, and we’re around halfway on tickets.
Invited guests are welcome to bring friends — just have them say hi so we know who we’re planning for.

Respect the land, stick to the cleared zones, look after each other… and we’ll keep fostering spaces like this for a long time to come. 🌱✨

And we’re officially moving toward the halfway mark for tickets. 🔥

If you’re planning on joining us for Terminus NYE, now’s the time to secure your spot — our capacity is intentionally tight, and once we’re sold out we won’t be adding more.
This means gate tickets are not guaranteed, especially once the post-Christmas wave hits. If you know you’re coming, don’t leave it to chance.

This isn’t a big-number festival or something we want to scale without reason.
Our gatherings exists to celebrate local creatives, community and connection — a space built for quality over volume, and a dancefloor filled with the right people . Intimate, intentional, powerful.

As always, this gathering is invite-only.
If you don’t have an invite — reach out.
If you’re attending and wish to bring friends — you’re welcome to, we just ask that you make sure they feel aligned. We screen all new invites because the energy of this event relies on the people within it.
