So disappointing that people choose to do this!
💔 Today really hurt.
Around midday, a young woman decided to steal over $150 worth of handmade items from our Launceston pop-up shop on Charles Street. These are not mass-produced imports, these are pieces made with heart and soul by local makers who pour their time, skill, and creativity into everything they create.
We’re not a big chain. We’re your neighbours. We’re the ones who donate to your school raffles, who say hello on the street, who create beautiful things for your homes, gifts, and hearts.
WE SUPPORT LOCALS…we don’t expect to be stolen from by them.
♥️ If you want to make a real difference today, come in, shop with heart, and remind these amazing makers that our community is better than this! ♥️
We managed to recover most of the stolen stock, but we’re still missing a pair of earrings. Even more disheartening? The woman with her (possibly her mother or grandmother) mouthed off at us as we tried to get our stock back.
Thank you to everyone who chooses to support small. We feel every single one of you.
