As Halloween approaches, many readily embrace its traditions, rooted in pagan practices, while an equally significant time, Yom Kippur, often goes unnoticed. Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, invites reflection, repentance, and the seeking of forgiveness for past wrongdoings. It offers a sacred opportunity for a personal encounter with Yeshua (Jesus), a moment of spiritual renewal that deserves more attention. Isn't it worth considering this holy season, and the chance it brings for genuine reflection and transformation?

The storm has passed, and there’s a fresh, crisp smell in the air. It’s as if the earth itself has been purified, washed clean by the rains. I can feel it—the way everything feels renewed, like life is beginning again. My heart swells with gratitude, knowing that I am here to witness this moment, to breathe in the aftermath of God’s greatness. There’s a deep sense of peace, an awareness that no matter the intensity of the storm, there is always calm on His side.

I was wondering if the sun stops shinning during the storm and the answer is no.
Life is full of unexpected challenges, from personal struggles to global crises. These storms can feel overwhelming, pushing us to our emotional and mental limits. But much like the weather, where clouds obscure the sun without extinguishing its light, life's difficulties are temporary. The sun is always there, shining behind the darkest clouds.
No matter how intense the storm, the sun still shines behind the clouds. It might be obscured for a time, but it hasn’t disappeared. Similarly, no matter how tough life gets, brighter days will come again. With the right mindset—one grounded in resilience, hope, and trust—we can not only survive life’s storms but emerge from them stronger, more compassionate, and more appreciative of the sunshine that follows.
Let us hold on to the promise that the sun is always there, waiting for the clouds to part, reminding us that every storm is temporary, and better days lie ahead.
