Weโ€™re absolutely loving our new signage at the entry gates and hope youโ€™re finding it helpful too!
The wind has done us a favour and dried the sand arenas out nicely, so the grounds are looking fantastic and ready for everyone to enjoy.
Have a wonderful time training, and we look forward to seeing you out and about soon. Have fun ๐Ÿดโ˜€๏ธ ๐Ÿ™Œ

KNOW YOUR RULES | New Helmet Standards โš ๏ธโ›‘๏ธ๐Ÿ’š

Eventing Queensland would like to remind all riders, parents, coaches and officials that updated helmet standards are now in place for EA affiliated events.

Approved helmets must display an EA helmet tag to confirm compliance with safety standards. Riders without an approved tagged helmet will not be permitted to compete.

๐ŸŸก Helmets that meet the EA standards applicable
from 1 Jan 2027 โ€“ 31 Dec 2028
(FEI from 1 Jan 2027 โ€“ 31 Dec 2027) are tagged Yellow.

๐ŸŸข Helmets that meet the EA standards applicable
from 1 Jan 2029 (FEI from 1 Jan 2028) are tagged Green.

Helmets are one of the most important pieces of safety equipment we use in our sport, making sure your helmet meets the latest standards helps protect you every ride.

For more information on approved helmet standards and tagging requirements, visit the Equestrian Queensland website here:

Another fabulous Clinic from Trish Braithwaite Equestrian
From warming up our horses and our bodies it was straight into the pole session, where the horses worked beautifully.
Thoughts from the session...straightness, balance and rhythm, something we can all put into our everyday riding.
Follow our page for dates on the next SEG clinic in the second part of the year
This one sold out! ๐Ÿด

โš ๏ธ Advice for users of the jump equipment, please read to the end.

Is it a task to set up and pack up the jumps? Sure it is.
Are we lucky enough to have training jumps to use as our own and a great grass arena with loads of room to train on? Heck yes!

Some members may not be aware but we have an arrangement with the council and they mow for us with their big mower to maintain our beautiful area. This assists us greatly, especially through the warmer months! However, they are not expected to and do not move our jump equipment. So what happens?

Unfortunately jumps have not been put away before mowing days and we have been left with big patches that Emma has mowed with her young family in tow. This of course whilst appreciated is not a fair, safe or sustainable practice.

What looks nicer, a beautiful green grass arena with no blemishes or a would-be grass arena with dead grass patches everywhere because equipment gets left out as common practice? Blemish free PLEASE!

So, for clarity's sake - ALL JUMP GEAR NEEDS TO BE PACKED AWAY AFTER USE ๐Ÿ‘

If you have to leave unexpectedly please let us know so the gear can be packed away.

Whilst this arrangement may not suit everyone and we fully appreciate those members who consistently do the right thing, we welcome your comments and feedback so we can make life a little bit easier for our AMAZING VOLUNTEERS. Please let us know in 'comments' if you have any awesome ideas on how we can make everyones enjoyment of the space a bit easier, thank you ๐Ÿซถ
