What a great morning celebrating some of our incredible Cowork + Create members!

Today, Fathi from MMACS and Eugene, Shalini and the Nurse Next Door Werribee team welcomed the two independent judges to Cowork + Create as part of the 2026 Wyndham Business Awards judging process for their finalist categories.

It was so special to have both finalist businesses together in the space they call work, alongside our judges and Cowork + Create community. A huge thank you to the Nurse Next Door team for putting on a beautiful morning tea and helping make everyone feel so welcome.

Watching our members absolutely kick goals and now be recognised at the Wyndham Business Awards honestly fills my cup. Moments like this are exactly why I started Cowork + Create. Seeing businesses that work alongside each other every day being celebrated for the incredible work they do is something really special, and I couldn't be happier for these amazing teams.

To all of this year's finalists, congratulations! Enjoy every moment of the journey over the coming weeks, soak it all in, celebrate how far you've come, and most importantly... have fun.
We can't wait to celebrate with you all at the Wyndham Business Awards in October.

WHOOP WHOOP!! 🎉🙌

We’ve got some pretty exciting news to share…

Cowork + Create has officially been named a finalist in the Business Service Excellence category at the 2026 Wyndham Business Awards!

When I started Cowork + Create, my dream wasn’t only to create a place for people to get their best work work. It was to create a place where businesses could grow. Where people could build genuine relationships, back one another, collaborate, celebrate the wins and have a community cheering them on. (Or at least me cheering them on! Hehe)

And do you know what makes this nomination even more special?

I know this sounds silly… but I genuinely feel like a proud parent right now.😂 😂

This nomination isn’t just about us. It’s about what can happen when good people surround themselves with other good people. When ideas are shared over a coffee, referrals are made across a desk, milestones are celebrated together and everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed.

To our members and supporters—thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. Seeing you kick goals is one of the best parts of mine.

Congratulations to every finalist this year. Wyndham is home to some seriously awesome businesses and passionate business people and Im so proud to be part of this community.

Bring your laptop, choose a desk, plug into a monitor and spend a few hours getting through the work that’s been following you around all week.

We’ll also have morning tea from 10:30am, with some of our current members popping in for a cuppa and a chat.

It’s not a workshop or a networking event.
It’s simply a productive place to work, meet a few friendly people and experience coworking for yourself.

We’re keeping the room intentionally small so it doesn’t feel overcrowded, and there are now only 3 spots left.

COWORK + CREATE - MEMBER OF THE MONTH! JUNE 2026

This month we're excited to introduce you to Jordyn from 4 Reasons Disability Services.

As Operations Manager, Jordyn helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, supporting both participants and staff to ensure everything runs smoothly and delivers the highest standard of person-centred care.

Her role includes everything from compliance and staff onboarding through to participant matching, service delivery and supporting the team behind the scenes.

One thing Jordyn shared that really stood out was that disability support involves far more than what most people see day-to-day. Behind every support service is a huge amount of planning, strategy, compliance and coordination to ensure participants receive the best possible care while achieving their individual goals.

When asked what she loves most about her work, Jordyn's answer was simple: making a genuine difference in people's lives.

We're proud to have Jordyn as part of the Cowork + Create community and love seeing the positive impact she and the team at 4 Reasons Disability Services are making across our region.

One of my favourite traditions at Cowork + Create is our quarterly morning teas.
They're not networking events. There's no awkward icebreakers or pressure to pitch your business.

They're simply a chance for the people who share this workspace to slow down for half an hour, grab a coffee, enjoy a few treats and get to know the people they pass in the hallway or chat to at the coffee machine.

The reality of coworking is that everyone is here for a different reason. Some are running businesses, some are working remotely, some are studying, and most days everyone is head down, focused on getting their work done. Work schedules don't always overlap, so these mornings give us the chance to put faces to names and hear a little about each other's world.

Sometimes those conversations turn into collaborations, referrals or friendships that continue well beyond our four walls. Other times, it's simply nice to know the name of the person you see every Tuesday morning making their coffee.

For me, these mornings are also a small way of saying thank you.
Our members take such pride in this space, look after it as if it were their own, and they're genuinely some of the kindest, most talented people I know. Whether they're building businesses, growing their careers or supporting our community in other ways, they show up every day and do incredible work.
They deserve to be spoiled every now and then.
