Wedding preparations are always exciting, even for me as a florist.
Going wedding dress shopping becomes an emotional roller-coaster when the bride is your daughter ... from excitement with a rim of anticipation to pure joy and pride every time the curtain is pulled back, revealing another gorgeous gown on your adult child, leaving me grabbing for tissues. Tears of happiness have now given way to pinching myself, wondering when did she grow up and did this actually happen this morning?
Time for another coffee while I work on flower quantities and availability for their big day.
