Excited to announce the start of our tee block renovation project.

Work will be undertaken on a number of teeing areas to increase them in size and levelled that will give improved teeing surfaces year round and accommodate the increasing number of people enjoying the course.
After firm true rolling greens, which we now have, the next thing golfers look for is level tee blocks.

This week the grounds team started to shape the O'Leary Walker Wines #1 forward red tee box bringing it closer to the centre of the fairway and increasing it in size from 36m2 to 100m2.
Once the soil has settled turf will be rolled out likely in 2 stages to allow for uninterrupted play.

The cordoned off areas are GUR.
DO NOT enter this area.
If your ball comes to rest in this area use your club to gentle roll your ball out.
Post round book a lesson with Phil 'the Pro' Skeers, your ball shouldn't be there in the first place!

Thanks to those that have given the club access to clean fill, it is greatly appreciated.
We will be seeking more as the project continues.

We take great pride in looking after the wonderful community facility that is the Clare Golf Club and welcome many people that enjoy playing golf or walking the grounds responsibly and safely.

A few have chosen the course to be their final resting place, the elevated #7 one such place.

To the person, or, persons who think it is OK to enter the grounds and vandalise a memorial bench you are not welcome.

If anybody recognises the tags and know who they belong to we're keen to hear from you.

If they belong to you get in touch so we can share with you how much goes into looking after this great community asset.
