Having received over 30mm of rain in the last week, the course is in superb condition thanks to the work of our amazing greenskeeper team. We look forward to welcoming our visiting women golfers to Clare. Entries close Friday 6th November.

The 1st round of the Junior Championship was played in very wet and cold conditions on Sunday. The 5 boys did very well to all finish their stroke round.

Round of the day was Evan Lawrie shooting a 88, including birdies on #7 and #8. Great scoring Evan.

Many thanks to Hayden Schutz and Matt Wilson who walked with the groups passing on scoring and rules knowledge.

Wishing everyone good golfing for the final round this Sunday.
Presentations will be approximately 2pm for anyone who would like to show support for our Juniors

Will it 🌧, won't it 🌧, will it stop 🌧.
Who cares, get out and play golf.
That was the attitude of 42 of 44 (a few others may have taken a short interval) entered in the Jim Barry Wines stableford and Eric Bray Better Ball comp.

The course didn't have its f**s out but still in tip top condition and while not ideal for the 1st rd of Junior club champs today the course will love this 🌧.

39 points secured the 🏆 for Ausy Tizio, you only play to handicap 20% of the time so a really good round by Ausy. Well played.
Paul Dohnt's 37 had him claim 🥈 on c/b from KObe Wilson.
Clubhouse 💵 on your account thanks to Jim Barry Wines.
New season apparel and plenty of consumables to spend your winnings on, remember speak to Phil and see what he can do on other items you need.

🎯sharp shooting NTP's
Wykari of Clare #7 Tom Hawker and his red tee
Clare Hotel #9 John 'the great man' Nairn
clos Clare Wines #12 Anthony Rametta
Clare Valley Meats #14 Michael Dopson: birdied 3/4 par 3's, special.

In the Eric Bray Better Ball hosted by Michael Bray and family it was the Pike's, Alister & Stuart who took the Port with 44 points, beating Toby Milburn and Aus Tizio and GleNn Hayes and Jim Reid on a countback.
For others the highlight was the nuts n bolts. Yum.

Good luck to the Juniors today.

Good Golfing!
