25 players + 3 wusses were out for the monthly Paulett Wines & Bush DeVine Restaurant stroke round, the tough conditions showed in the lack of good cards submitted.
🥇was Luke Broadbent with nett 73, Luke held on all day, just, Alex Nicholls was on the other side of a c/b this week pushed into 🥈with nett 73. 🥉Toby Milburn with nett 75.

While we’re thrilled to see the recent rain, and with more forecast on Friday we want to ensure the course is in prime condition for Farmers Day, including allowing the use of golf carts on the day so have made the decision to postpone.☔🌱

Well, the weather dial got turned all the way up to “Absolutely Glorious” today.😂
The 🌞 was out, the sky was putting on its best performance, and winter decided it had somewhere else to be.
Perfect golf conditions for the 43 players in the Skillogalee Estate par round.
So good that Hayden Schutz had a great day even with -11.

Fantastic to see visitors from Golf Club, Barossa Valley Golf Club, The Grange Golf Club, Tanunda Pines Golf Course TPGC, and West Lakes Golf Club.

+2 was the winning score of Scott Kuerschner who stormed home to claim 🥇 from Harry Butler 🥈on c/b leaving 🥉for Michael Bray on +1 after his return from Victoria.

The Semi finals of the Presidents Cup had Trent Brown v Harry Butler and John 'the Great man' Nairn v Matt Butler compete.
Trent & John eked out a small lead early until the Golf Gods looked own at Trent and said 'how dare you be a good guy and find your opponents ball' from there Harry Butler came good, real good winning hole after hole. Trent's sensational birdie on 13 not enough Harry claiming victory 5/4. Well done Harry.
In the other match Butler Snr clawed his way back with solid golf to be 3 up after 14, word filtering that his day was done. That appeared to be the case when Butler piped his drive down the middle on 15 and looked in control.
Those golfing gods came back after he found Trent's ball on 13 and the fortune turned, some would say Choco Williams delivered his tie and Butler proceeded to tighten it over the next 3 holes going L L L. Tied going up 18.
Butler's head off continued, Nairn did enough to win 18 and take the match.

A protest was launched after it was discovered John 'the Great man' Nairn had broken competition rules and not adorned his driver the the Flamingo complaining about it's droop. Protest thrown out.
Choke complete. Dad ruining the dream of a Father v Son final.
