Street Chess Street Chess is a weekly chess event held in the centre of Canberra. Join us under the trees outside King O'Malley's in City Walk.

Street Chess is held every Saturday from 11am to 3pm.

Huge effort from the Street Chess Canberra team at the 2026 World Rapid and Blitz Teams Championship. Playing the winners of the Rapid tournament, Dragon Chilling, they picked up 2 wins from 6 games, going down 4-2 at the end. Dragon Chilling had 5 GM's and played Ding Liren on the top board.
