First up in 2026 ✅

We delivered the Westbridge Funds Road National Championships for the second year running as the Operational Management team.

From 7–11 January, Australia’s best cyclists and para-cyclists raced through Perth’s local treasures—Bold Park, Northbridge and Kings Park—and what a showcase it was.

Thank you to AusCycling for trusting us again with this incredible event and the opportunity to put Perth on display across the country and beyond.

To the outstanding network of sponsors, stakeholders, suppliers, staff and volunteers—this event simply wouldn’t happen without you. And that's 2025 done and dusted! It was another huge year for us here at EventMatrix, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the outpour of support across participants, volunteers and attendees. We went all over the beautiful Western Australia, running 6 events:

The National Championships are back in Perth: Volunteers needed!

Australia’s premier cycling event is returning to Perth from January 7–11.

As in 2025, the 2026 Westbridge Funds Road National Championships (as it is now known) will feature three disciplines – time trial, criterium, and road race.

World-class pros including Luke Durbridge, Ben O’Connor, Jay Vine, Brodie Chapman and Amanda Spratt will be in competition on the streets of Perth.

AusCycling, is looking for volunteer course marshals and crossing point marshals to make the event a success.

All volunteers receive an AusCycling t-shirt, hat, bag, sunscreen, water and snacks.

No experience is required, but you must be able to give verbal instructions and fill shifts for several hours at a time on course – possibly near large crowds. Volunteers need to be 18+ or accompanied by a parent or guardian.

And that's a wrap on the Chevron City to Surf for GenU 🥇 We were honoured to be the operational event managers behind both the Karratha and Perth events again. Thank you to the genU team, who we worked alongside to deliver two incredible events with over 700 participants in Karratha and 29,000 in Perth!

On behalf of our team, we’d love to thank each and every one of you who came out for the 2025 Busselton Festival of Triathlon! Every single athlete, spectator, official, volunteer and team member helped contribute to an amazing weekend, and we couldn’t have done it without any of you. 💙

The weekend was full of highlights, and everyone who came out to support, in rain or shine, is so appreciated for the awesome atmosphere that you created. The sportsmanship across this weekend was incredible to see. Thank you, it means the world!

Thank you so much to every volunteer and team member, you all worked tirelessly to deliver an awesome weekend for all, and we hope you had an incredible time.

Congratulations to all finishers, your performance was outstanding despite the tough weather, we cannot wait to hopefully see you back again next year. Thank you so much for continuing to support our event.
