1. JUST THE LEGALS

The simplest of ceremonies, perfect for those who have had a wedding overseas and need to do the legals in Australia, or those who really want the lowest of fuss possible when marrying.

• Decor and styling
• 20 guest chairs
• Signing table and chairs
• Candles
• PA System for music

Justin and Cam - what a wedding, and what a couple!

These two chose to have their ceremony with Alter Albion, followed by a package for their 35 guests Hervé’s Events - Brisbane in the bar with delicious canapés, drinks, cake, and speeches.

Getting married here was honestly such a special experience, and having Roxy as our celebrant made the whole process feel so easy and stress-free from start to finish.

Roxy put so much thought and care into our ceremony, and it was absolutely beautiful. It felt incredibly personal to us and was everything we could have hoped for.

We’re also so thankful that we were able to include our little dog, Ollie, in the ceremony. Having him there with us made the day feel even more special and meant the world to us. 🐾🤍

The space itself is stunning, and one of our favourite things was how seamlessly the ceremony flowed into the reception at Hervé’s next door. It made the whole day feel effortless.

We’re so grateful we got to celebrate such an important day at Alter Albion, and even more grateful that Roxy was the one who married us. ❤️

At Alter Albion, we make sure all legal elements of your marriage are covered.

You need to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with us at least one month beforehand, alongside any supporting paperwork (such as ID documents and evidence that any previous marriages are no longer valid).

On the day we’ll ask you questions to ensure you’re willingly and legally consenting to marry, and we’ll get you to sign a Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marry.

During the ceremony we’ll state a legal declaration called a monitum, and get you to state your legal vows.

After that, we’ll sign the legal paperwork with your two witnesses, and lodge these papers with Births, Deaths and Marriages in Brisbane.

Once your marriage certificate is ready from them, they’ll email you with an invoice to order this - we will have given them all your details to do this.

It really is very simple, and we’re guiding you along the way. That’s why we’re the easiest wedding in town. Perfect for those wanting to elope, host a micro wedding, or just those who want a stress free experience.

It’s been five months since we conducted our first wedding at Alter Albion, and since then, we’ve been blown away with the feedback from couples and guests alike.

We always believed our concept that couples want the ease and simplicity of organising a registry wedding, but would like a venue with a bit of extra ‘wow’ to it all. And what we’ve discovered is that, yes, couples out there want exactly this, and, yes, we’re delivering it.

We’ve already locked in a number of couples for the next 12 months, and we’re noticing enquiries grow weekly. So, if you like the idea of a really easy wedding planning experience for your elopement, micro-wedding, or ceremony only wedding, then we suggest you contact us as soon as you can.
