A quick word about shopping around for airport transfers…

By all means, shop around. We expect it. Everyone has a budget and there's absolutely nothing wrong with comparing prices.

But today we had an interesting one.
Someone looking for an airport transfer contacted another local operator. After a couple of days we saw the public enquiry was still sitting there and contacted him to see if he'd managed to get transport sorted.

We were actually already booked on the date anyway, so if he still needed the trip, our intention was to refer the work back to the other operator.
Instead, our private message was screenshotted and sent to that operator, creating the impression that we were trying to steal their customer.

Thankfully, two phone screens and a conversation later, both businesses worked out what had happened.

So here's a little tip.

Trying to play two local operators against each other probably isn't going to get you a cheaper airport transfer.

A lot of us actually know each other.

We refer work to each other.

We help each other when vehicles break down, flights go sideways or somebody is already booked.

You might think you're starting a bidding war.

There's a fair chance you've actually just started a hilarious group conversation where we've laughed at your expense, and shared your details with other operators so they know about you before you try this on them. 😂

Shop around. Compare prices. Ask questions. Absolutely.

Just don't try to create a fight between two small businesses to save ten bucks.

We're competitors. We're not enemies.

IT'S CARNIVAL OF FLOWERS TIME

Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers kicks off on the 18th September we are excited again this year to bring the wonders of Toowoomba to anyone who has a love of flowers, amazing homes and beautiful scenery not mention tasty food that is on offer in the region.

Offering Day Trips from central location on Brisbane North Side with lunch stop included.

Charging point for phones

Pick up & Drop off at Sundowner Hotel on bribie island rd & DFO Brisbane airport near TK MAX.

Pick up Times 7am for Sundowmer
Pick up time 8am for DFO traffic running ok.

Cost per person $120 return.

Lunch and some garden entry at your cost.
Lunch will be at the Southern Hotel.
