Here’s a little peek behind the veil…
What’s been happening inside The Wedding Office in Bridgetown, in WA’s beautiful South West?
Our sign has been up for a while now, and I know some of you have been wondering… a wedding office? What’s it going to be?
And there’s so much I can’t wait to show you.
Well… we’re creating our very own "Tiny Country Chapel". A warm, intimate little place to say “we do”.
But first, a little of the story behind the sign.
Last year, I lost both Mum and Dad. Our sign went up just after Mum died, and Dad passed away about a month later.
What followed was eight months of dealing with the practicalities, the legal matters and the grief of losing my parents, while still trying to keep up with our businesses and everyday life.
Sometimes you drop the ball. Overwhelm and exhaustion take over, and there’s just nothing left in the tank. I’ve had to remind myself that this is part of being human.
So the chapel waited while I found my feet again.
And now… we’re moving again! Renovations are underway, and I can feel that excitement bubbling up. 🌱
I’m sure Mum and Dad are sending me little angelic helpers from the heavens. There have been some lovely people helping along the way, but the biggest thank you belongs to my amazing husband, Mark.
He has gone above and beyond to help me get back on my feet, working tirelessly through some of the more difficult parts of the renovation. His love, patience and support have helped me find my way back to this dream.
The Wedding Office –
"Tiny Country Chapel" is already filled with so much love. The love of a man doing everything he can to help his wife realise a dream of celebrating and supporting others in marriage.
That means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you, my love. 🤍
From loss, something new is growing. And just as spring has sprung, our little chapel is coming to life.
I’ll be sharing more over the coming weeks, and I can’t wait for the first reveal and our big launch!
